I agree, at least in part. Glitch runs can be fun to watch, but sometimes that’s not what I’m looking for. At the very least, I’m not fond of runs that use trigger exploits to skip large portions of the game.

That’s a personal opinion that’s mentioning your own experience, nothing wrong with that. Were you to say that all glitch runs were objectively bad and that no one should like them, period, well then that would be different.

Unpopular opinion I know, but I feel that a speedrunner using glitches is the same as a marathon runner who uses shortcuts. Its obviously not the way its meant to be done. Might as well pop a gameshark in there and just have it run the credits, game over 12 seconds.
