Wow what a mind you have, I’m scared of people like you when it comes to fandom haha. I would feel more comfortable if you just didn’t buy it all or find another avenue to channel your energy if thats how you operate. That kind of mentality would surely kill the franchise.

Because when the adults were kids, they were taught to be actively offended instead of being off-put or disinterested, and they were also taught that being offended is the most inhuman thing that can happen and not to tolerate it. They’re all going to die unhappy, even if their every ideal is catered to.

We used to cal this the religious right. However, the left have become the new religious right. If they don’t agree with it than it should be gone. It’s a fact that we are seeing played out everyday.

You’re reading me wrong. People having opinions is completely normal, but using them as weapons is wrong. Like I said, people moan either way we have it with censorship vs sexualised content. My point here wasn’t people having the ability to moan, but people acting upon it. It’s a detriment to everything.

I don’t think the OP meant people can’t have opinions, just that the vitriolic way we tend to express them is hardly proportional to the issues we bemoan

On a closely related note: we can’t really win, can we? If they’ve got boobs out, people just moan about sexy art and how it’s evil; if they used to and now don’t, people moan about censorship and how it’s evil. When do we get to the part where we all accept that everyone has their own creative licence and just accept

Pirates Say Thing That Stops Them From Pirating Is Bad.

I can’t speak for anyone else, but personally, unless I’m really excited about a release (and this has happened twice in the last three years), I really try and avoid any game that has these kinds of buyable add-ons. I’m more than happy to wait and pay $20 for a bundled collection of content and DLC than I am to keep

That’s like saying that buying luxurious and expensive items will deter burglars, or wearing gold chains and watches will deter muggers. I hate that argument as much as the people who use it.

This is an attempt to paint a picture of pirates buying good games and stealing games that they know are shit. Give me a break. The reality is if you pirate, you steal EVERYTHING, and you only keep the quality games.

It’s very funny that people think making a game good will make it less appealing to pirates. There’s no logic there.

I would be surprised if there wasn’t a deal worked out with Denuvo that would scale the price according to protection.

People want to steal games, that’s about it.

The gripe is pretty obvious as it comes from parasites that feel entitled to other people’s work.

Precisely why they don’t get their system bricked or end up under legal fire. They agree to terms when they access the online service. They break the rules. They lose online privileges.

Reminds me of Shawshank Redemption.

They aren’t saying you can’t modify your system, just you aren’t going to be allowed on their network if you do.

Both.

Of course some people are claiming they did nothing. Every single one of these stories there’s people like that, as if anyone is going to believe them.

Zero sympathy.
