I’m guessing so as well. “N” obviously stands for “Nintendo”, but in Japan an “X” in a title usually denotes a “cross” as in mixing elements. I’m guessing either a portable console (as in around Wii U’s power and fully portable, but can hook up to HDTV) or a dedicated handheld gaming phone of sorts.
Well, I guess I'll be buying a PS4 in three years.
I thought about that, but the safer bet is to be skeptical until Wednesday, or whenever the official announcement will be.
It's Mario. Look at the screen.
Ummm- anybody else notice it says Mario at the bottom of the screen? Mods.
Am I the only person who finds 60fps to not be absolutely necessary? If 30fps is constant, i.e. no lag, then I don’t see the need for 60fps if it means sacrificing any features.
I’m in no rush to spend another couple hundo on a handheld. The 3DS is just doing waaaay too good. Unlike the archaic console wars, Nintendo Handhelds never really feel like they need replacement because instead of making games that push the hardware so fiercely that it can’t keep up after a while, 3DS games are…
Ummmmm, most of the 3DS faithful likely already have all six originals, and for 30 bucks. If this game is more than that, then it barely makes sense for a 3DS release.
Yes indeed! Did you play Dragon’s Crown? That and Muramasa are the only reasons I haven't sold my Vita yet. Such simply fun and beautiful games. Proof that style isn't dead.
On the surface, it also sounds like Momohime and Jinkuro’s situation in Muramasa: The Demon Blade.
Even Trinen can't get any Amiibos. The only decently hard to acquire one he has is Rosalina.
Agreed- the art and music were gorgeous, but felt sparsely strewn about a vast yet empty space. The battles were uninspiring with the exception of the asterisk battles where strategy and defaulting actually had a reason to be used. Most of my hours were spent grinding outside of that town in the west just to level up…
I got the MM and the MH4U ones, but I went with a black New 3DS as my core one (the one with all of my download games that I’m not afraid to keep in my pocket when I go out)
With my diet, I’m lookin’ at a solid 1%. Live on the edge.
True that! Although, I can swear I had an opaque purple GBA before I sold it to upgrade to the SP. Oh well.... probably just a case of old man brain.
Was that GBC or GBA? The world was so purpley back then.
I'm still salty because I was eating pretzels at the beach and some asshole poured salt all over me. But on the real, black is always the way to go for any handheld- unless it's a special edition.
Play Life Force, Fahey! Having the Konami 30 life code makes all the difference. Also, peep this short boredom remix of the classic Gradius level-1 theme I made like last year:
Why hate to say it? The 3DS is by far the best system I have ever owned, and I gamed all through the 80’s until now (SNES and PS1 tie for second place).
