This was a great episode. I’ve never listened to the podcast before, but I have started subscribing to it now after listening to this episode. I enjoyed the three different perspectives, the analysis, and the humor where you could fit it in. And I agree with your point at the end that the editing was on-point. Thanks.

Legitimate question: what groups do you feel the SPLC has unfairly labeled? I donate to them and didn’t realize that there is a legitimate complaint against them (I mean, I’ve seen groups like the Alt-Right complain about them, but I wouldn’t consider that legitimate). On that same note, which legitimate religious

I teach high school and see roughly 100 kids per day wearing “Obey” branded clothing. It’s super ironic, but I doubt that any of them have even heard of “They Live.”

Also, “They Live” inspired my favorite gif ever.

That’s a legit issue, yes. I think that Google has indicated that they are going to be introducing custom voice cues soon. FYI, you can also say “Hey, Google,” which is one less syllable, at least, lol.

I don’t care at all about audio quality. The speaker on the Home is great for a complete audio-indifferent like myself. I’m planning to buy a Mini so that I can use the Google Home from my bedroom for things like listening to podcasts, playing music, controlling my Nest, etc.

FYI, 8bitdo’s SNES wireless controller should work with PC and the Nintendo Switch as well.

Okay, so I’m a little confused on Credit Karma. They have gotten in trouble for defrauding customers in the past, right? And they have an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. But they are Lifehacker’s favorite credit monitor?

FYI, I tried to order my report through annualcreditreport.com. It would only work for Equifax and Experian (it said that Transunion was temporarily unavailable) and then the website never made it past the submission page. So, they are probably way overloaded right now. Don’t expect to be able to get your reports any

CreditKarma has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. You might want to look elsewhere.

Yeah, when they are by intelligent people and not defecating presidents, I find them to be some of the more useful and informative places on Twitter.

“This would ruin Twitter, which has already been ruined multiple times by new features.”

I never, ever lease. I buy them used a year or so after they come out for somewhere around 10-30% of the original price. The way I look at it, if a phone looks awesome, sexy, and cutting edge to me in 2016, the only thing that’s changed by 2017 is my perception. I use a phone comparison site to compare various models

Aside from being waterproof and looking slightly better, is there any reason not to buy a last gen one and save $10? Will reTile apply to the last gen?

This is why I’ve held on to mandatory nap time with an iron grip as long as I can.

God that looks delicious.

I can’t think of anything more American than buying cheese in bulk at Walmart.

Oh, man. The Mammy cookie jar full of condoms had my crying. I love this show.

I finally got tested for allergies about a year ago. Turns out that I’m highly allergic to every kind of tree they tested, every mold, every weed, every grass, dust mites, cockroaches, and horses. I get shots (at first weekly, now every other week) and take Claritin and Flonase every morning and Zyrtec every night. I

Texas, here. I think we have Iowa beat, sadly. At least we are supplying the nation with fun YouTube videos of Sally Yates savaging John Cornyn and Ted Cruz.
