I assume that this is for Asus Windows computers only, right? Or do we need to worry with Asus Chromebooks and Linux machines, too?

Any recommendations of which ones on that list don’t turn your phone into a dinosaur or drain your battery?
Sorry, I just saw this. We stuck with it and he had fun but never really improved. We did soccer next and he was legitimately good at it, though his attention span didn’t gel very well with the practices. We are now just starting his second season of basketball at his request. He can dribble okay now but still can’t…
So, I thought that Shapiro was a libertarian. He’s definitely portrayed himself as such in the past. But then he’s also antiabortion? If the invisible hand of the free market really works, then shouldn’t abortion just die off if it’s a bad business?
Any chance of anything like this for Chrome?
If I’m reading this correctly, it can only control 4 devices, right? That barely qualifies as a universal remote, in my opinion. The Tivo remote that came free with my cable plan can control more devices than that. It can’t also be programmed to do IR for extra devices?
I’m feeling personally triggered by that expensive MacBook being used as a coaster.
In Chrome, click ctrl-shift-j to open up the Java console. I couldn’t find “view > developer tools.”
Also, how do you put on the alligator costume?
Holy resurrected post, Batman!
FYI on the checking the front door one: Google Home also works with Arlo security cameras. I think I say “Hey, Google, show Front Porch on Chromecast” and it puts the view for that camera up on my TV. I haven’t done it in awhile, so I might have the phrase incorrect, sorry.
Hey! Thank you! That’s great information.
Yeah, it depends on a lot of factors. Chromebooks are relatively cheap, so it’s doable depending on your district and the size of the school. There’s a district very near ours where every student grades 3-12 is issued a Chromebook, and they are having a lot of success. It’s not a wealthy district, either.
Oh, yeah, 100%. Districts just don’t always have the money or infrastructure or want to spend it on that.
We use it for educational purposes, or at least some of us do. Have kids look up stuff on their phones, access the school’s LMS system to do assignments, etc. Cheaper than buying everyone a Chromebook. I happen to have a class set of Chromebooks that I bought through a grant, but even then, the kids would often prefer…
Fair enough. Sorry if I offended.
If you don’t trust someone, then yes, it absolutely demonstrates an unhealthy relationship.
I’m a high school teacher that allows students to have phones in class. If they are playing Fortnite, I’ve not seen it. I guess it’s possible, but honestly, if a student plays a game in my class and still gets a good grade, then my class is either crap or they really deserve the grade, in which case, good for them.…
Now please tell my 5 year-old.
Yeah, I’m very pro-sharing of passwords, but this is my situation, too. My wife has little to no interest in 99% of the things I have passwords for, so she doesn’t “know” them. But, I did make her memorize my Lastpass password in case she needs it.
Yeah...if you’re afraid of your spouse having your passwords, then you aren’t in a healthy relationship. And if you feel the need to snoop on them, password or no, same thing.
