You're using "predictable" in the passive, as in, it can literally "be predicted." Which it can. "Predictable" in this context means more specifically that it had an obvious ending. Which it didn't.

See my comment @Shiny.

The imprecise controls are intentional, though, man. Joel isn't some Special Weapons And Tactics badass. He's just a guy. And he's probably terrified and adrenaline is pumping. Without a solid few years' proper training (like I'd assume every other shooter's protagonist has, at least,) of course he's going to miss all

Righton. Still, for the monies, I hope at some point in the future ND's titles become fair game for the whole market.

Nah, I disagree. On artistic merit, there's one very simple justification for why I argue that Infinite is pretty far behind TLoU.

Your comments sounded like it was aimed at the game itself specifically- and it sounded like you were lumping it in with every-other-F/3PS-out-there. But I guess the hectic response is probably more due to everyone expecting some heavy trolling in the featured conversations at the top of the section :P your first

Yeah man, I got all of that. I found nearly all of the recordings on a first playthrough. Hopefully I'll find the note you refer to on my current Survivor playthrough.

Anybody get a total flashback to the Mona Sax sex line fantasy from Max Payne 2 when listening to Fahey's recording?

Yeah, that's very true. Though I imagine ND are making Sony exclusives because of a contractual obligation- not an actual choice. They must have had a 5-6 game contract with them or something. Your point still stands.

Man, I totally feel you. I think this is one of the first truly seminal games of the entire generation, which is a bit of a pity tbh. Definitely one of the most seminal games ever.

It's pretty damn original, man. Especially if you know the science behind it.

Dude, where was that? I want to find it. Sounds great. It was a collectible narrative thing, like notes and letters?

Can't edit my post for reasons unknown-

Most of the game is colourful as fuck and really eye-catching/popping.

Exclusivity doesn't matter for shit. I play PC, 360 and PS3, and I can tell you that The Last Of Us is probably the most important title I've played in the last five years, possibly the last ten. This generation, it's definitely the most important. Like how Crysis was an industry-wide benchmarker for technical

You should :) neither of those endings are correct. The general plot hangs on zombie-apocalypse cliché's, but what it ultimately does with the plot is completely not predictable or cliché. It's art as fuck.

I just got Tomb Raider for my birthday, long awaiting it. Though I get a feeling it'll be a far more casual, badly written version of TLoU. Still, looking forward to it.

Goddamn, yeah, good call. We just didn't get any hamfisted development, like Joel, for Ellie. I remember reading the stuff in Ellie's backpack and being gobsmacked at the little things the game never told us, and hid away for us to find about her. Could you repost your comment at Tw1s7? You're totally right and make

Yeah, so, awards equal exposure.
