Bloodborne is just as lacking in plot as Souls - but its story is more clearly conveyed.

It’s not really a parkour game. Dying Light is a zombie survival game (ranges from action horror to full-blown survival horror) in which you can climb any structure. It’s not smooth, flashy parkour. It’s often cumbersome, careful scaling window sills and leaping rooftops.

I'm fully on board with you on that one.

Why is there blood coming from here?

They prioritise glitches which stop the game working at all. Those take up the vast amount of the work - and in most cases devs succeed at making a thing which works from start to finish.

Did you play GZ? It's really nice. The HUD elements that are there are very minimalist- unlike RE6's clusterfuck of confusing elements.

According to the most recent TGS interview with Kojima, there's an actual story precedent for her being like that and it was a core part of her character design- before she was even male or female. From day one, the character's thumbnail was "The Naked Sniper."

Kojima said in one of the last TGS interviews (the one with Diamond Dog I think) that there's a backstory precedent for Quiet being like that.

For me, the Hand Cannon utterly makes up for the limited amount of weapons in the game.

Stifling laughter at work, the MD literally sitting two feet away from me.

Apparently her nudity and style has a story impetus. The in-scene characters even comment on it when she appears.

It's an open world game, and this is a mechanic you'll be able to use repeatedly. Possibly even on buildings ala Assassin's Creed - but we don't know this.

This is amazing

8 might have been lowest now that you mention it- but I definitely recall 8 was the most common score by far. There were deffo a few 9s and 10s but so many places I read didn't think it was all that.

Great example of that is GTAIII. A lot of really high-brow publications gave GTAIII 6-8 out of 10. The insane sales and massive cultural impact said it was slightly more important than those scores warranted. Vice City onwards... All 9s and 10s.

I reckon even GTAV would be a lot easier to do this in, because there's a much greater capacity to circumvent and CQC enemies.

This is amazing. How exactly are you killing people or progressing missions when the game repeatedly tells you to shoot folk?

Good job! I look forward to your comment never being approved because it's rude and pretty dang stupid.

This 'New Instance' funkiness doesn't seem to be working on my work machine at all. Presumably this only works with Windows instance-able programs like explorer?

Yeah that's utterly fair enough, and I appreciate the pragmatic response. I've spoken to a few people who it just didn't click with, but you seem to be more discerning than that.
