Practically everything that happens in Silent Hill is in the protagonists mind.

See my comment answering to Frosted Mini-Wheats

Silent Hill 1 still holds up if you get past the graphics.

Rockstar Table Tennis didn't. That was perfectly responsive and immediate, and in the RAGE engine. The slow inertia-based controls and animations in RDR/GTA were there by R*'s choice, not RAGE's limitation. I have a proper reply to you written up somewhere, I'll send tonight, apologies.

That design is so great. Really looked like an older, messed up Grayson.

Euphoria isn't on all of the time. It only kicks in when a character is bumped or knocked. All the walking/ covering/ running/ jumping etc. in those games are canned animations. Ones that Rockstar designed, and made awkward.

Same goes for literally any game, if you take it far enough.

Ever seen the 'Spoilers' t-shirt? It's a thing of beauty. Especially when hanging around with non-film-literate people.

I'd say definitely read what Seuss suggested:

You're forgetting that those issues have only been in Rockstar's open world games- ones that allow the character to do a massive variety of actions. This is a small-scale, focused game where, seemingly, the players main actions are moving, turning/ aiming, and shooting.

Yeah, I don't think Payne would work well open world.

Not sure if srs.

I'm positive it is open world- the issue seems to be that it's a very small open world.

Why do they do everything in their media in such a blunt, superficial manner? Even contrasting the gamer boyfriend with the non-gaming girlfriend. You don't need to do this shit. Man.

Because the last spoiler article revealed something that happens to the Joker, that is not in any advertising.

Killzone 2 had that as well, IIRC. Fucking stupid.

Also: currently playing Gears 3. I've done a fair chunk of it, and at times it has definitely approached Uncharted 2 imho. And I hear it only gets better. Let's see what happens!

An excellent call, though
