The difficulty is totally tempered, man. Everyone makes it sound like a brick wall, but it's not. It's just logical. Cause and effect. You make mistakes, you pay, losing items or dying. You keep your head screwed on and focus, you'll get by easy. But this makes it ultimately rewarding. Definitely try it, bro.

As someone else said, Haiku's are 5-7-5.

How's the game itself?! Would be great to know, I doubt I'll get it for a while, but I admire this series so much and love Demon's Souls.

Battlegrounds, a Source mod, did it a while back. Also, Max Payne 1 and 2 had it, but it didn't mean much.

Now playing

I didn't think there was a movie maker option- but upon booting the game up and looking at my redeemable UPlay Pass voucher, there clearly is. Let's see... There you go. Now go get the game, dude! It's great!

I was fine with the lethal stuff, too. You can still play the game non-lethal. It doesn't change anything. Just skip the cinematic and pretend nothing ever happened.

I was surprised and impressed with Crytek's cinematic flair in Crysis 2. This could bode well on a non-sci-fi orientated franchise.

If you haven't played either of those games, you should. Especially if you're into anything to do with World of Darkness or Sanity's Requiem.

It's nothing new generically- but it CAN be changed up.

How did you punch the third guy? I couldn't do it, but bet I would've killed him in one hit, too. Instead I relied on mines and my trusty uber-pistol, with the odd smattering of laser cannon.

Things that people seem to be missing about this game:

Tons of games release a multiplayer demo (beta) and a singleplayer demo. Driver's singleplayer demo came out first, and the multiplayer one functioned as a beta. Try the singleplayer demo, it's great. Pity about the MP one, as it was far better.

That never happened to me in the demo. And it sure as hell hasn't happened to me in the full game.

I've had a pretty opposite experience to Dying2Ski.

I haven't heard anything, from any source about buggy review code? Various publications that would definitely not let them off with it didn't mention anything about that.

Driver: San Francisco - 2011 - 80%

Did you not play the singleplayer demo? Several of the things Totilo mentions are in it. And it's great. The multiplayer also, is an unsung hero.

Try it FPS. I only play it in the driver-view mode, and it feels fast and frantic and thrilling. I can't stand it in TPS.

There is a Film Director mode.

True, but I'd argue that we don't know what the story is yet. Everything can make sense with the context of a good story. As of now, we don't know how good, bad, or ugly the story for this is.
