You talking about the one at the helicopter?

Yeah, I was thinking it might have worked better as a singleplayer-to-large-co-op game within big areas like this. Still, we'll see what happens, the idea of London and the centre of the earth sound great as MMO ideas.

It seems pretty early in the game, potentially even in the first level or so.

Ah, Giants: Citizen Kabuto. What a game.

That reminds me of how Halo: CE was originally going to be an Apple product. And looked pretty amazing. But obviously this was at the end of their gaming era, so the Xbox was probably a more viable place to have it (in the industry), and it worked out.

Ah, sharing buses with amazing people on the way to/from conferences. So great. Respect, man.

I reckon a lot of the price will be the software. It seems to have something like it's own appstore, and it can't be too easy to develop for.

God. Ignore the PC hoodies raging at your totally fine argument.

I didn't get the twist ending. I still don't get it. I don't know what happened in the end.

I think The Witness will be the make-or-break game. Braid was amazing, but didn't really catch any eyes. I think, if he pulls it off, The Witness could get a lot of attention from various sectors, and really wake some devs and studios up. But we'll have to see.

He mentioned that there's a reason for all the puzzles being there; and it seems there's a story too. The clear panel on the beach, with the man telling you a little story? There's a reason your character is on the island and why the island is full of puzzles?

There are three instances in the preview, I think, where he mentions he can't tell you things that are important. It's a pretty spoiler-free review, it only spoilers the tip of the iceberg of the game mechanics.

It's not that it makes you inept. You'll just have a better idea of where you're going and how to get there. That's not ineptitude. If you have it off, you're still playing the game just as well as if you had the minimap on, you simply have a much worse idea of where you are going or how to get there (at least before

So... Playing the game with the minimap off makes you more inept?

You're doing it wrong.

That's the one! Well played.

Nah, see KingOfAwesometonia's comment. That's what I was talking about.

Awww man. Kirk. You're the best.

Hey, this is not a new thing in any way. It was into the 2000s that they began doing this, but back then the expansions that were added into the pack had to be bought retail anyway, you couldn't just download them. Made it slightly more worth the money. And it was all cheaper anyway.
