This piece of crap screws it up for the rest of us. It’s one thing to be pushy, fine, if that’s your style. Some maybe like it, but once you get the no vibes, shut that shit down and be respectable or gtfo. Women are people, too. Not just receptacles for advances. Take your shot, but respect the response and act

Because whether or not the story is true, she’s probably going to receive online abuse and death threats if her details get out? Supposing for a second that it is true, why is she obliged to put herself through that? ‘Remain silent’ and ‘deal with Internet assholes’ should not be the only two options.

So that incredibly detailed story along with his confirmed phone number and apology isn’t enough? She needs to be outed and have people know who she is simply because she had the audacity to tell someone that Aziz Ansari engaged in sexual misconduct with her? Gross.

What matters a little less is whether what he did was “misconduct.” I’m leaning toward he’s kind of a pushy asshole, not a date-rapist.

I loved D’Arcy Carden as Gemma on Broad City, so I was so delighted to find her here. I think in many ways her Gemma reminds me of Janet. I can’t even fully describe it, it’s like when it comes to delivery D’Arcy zags instead of zigging, and it’s perfect. She says these lines that would be flat with any other

Cocaine and basically a sex bot (Maximum Derrick!).

I think she’s the most unexpected delight of the show. You want to like all of the human leads, but Janet just started off as a funny quirk in that world that they’ve built into one of the best characters.

SPOILERS

I love Jamil as I love everyone on that show but my heart still belongs to Janet.

Do they at least let you take your heels off between takes?

Bill Buckner.

Yes! And when Poe himself, Mr. Damn The Torpedoes, was like “Shit, this is stupid as hell, let’s get the fuck outta here!”

When Luke told Rey to stop idolizing the Skywalker legacy.
When Kylo whined about how this was his story

I love it when a movie has the balls to actually say what a lot of us have been thinking since the prequel trilogy. The Jedi were fucking morons and shit isn’t as simple as black and white, dark and light

God, that fucking ruled.

I feel like you missed the best one, where Poe Dameron, dashing space flyboy, pulls a mutiny on the cold and frigid new commander who’s obviously not as a good a choice as him in his own mind, and it turns out he’s the asshole, not the hero.

Also when hyperdrive kamikaze rendered basically every other form of space warfare obsolete

Maybe it’s because I’ve been through similar struggles with my wife, but I thought the conflict felt very organic. Jim and Pam were both extremely stressed out by the situation, it would be impossible not to have that affect their relationship.
