I try to be gentle with myself. I used to give myself a hard time, judging and putting myself down, and it would lead me to a shame spiral. Now I just admit “eh, it’s an ‘off’ day, so I’ll take it slow, and tomorrow will be more productive”. Psyching myself for the following day usually works.
