I'm a white upper middle class woman with black in-laws, black friends, black colleagues. These are people I love and all of them, every single one, have stories about the police. Any of them could have been Walter Scott.

Oh, how I love a good, hoppy beer.

Maya Angelou had the best smile ever.

Generally speaking, when in close proximity to a microphone, it’s best to keep your inner voice an inner voice.

Terminated for cause. They weren’t screwing around. That’s basically saying, ‘Chris, don’t you even think to take us to court over this, because you will lose.’

Ray of Light was the only Madonna album I've liked from start to finish. Excellent production.

This is one of the funniest things I've seen all day.

Next to none. I'm 45, married, and don't give a shit. Go bug someone else.

You know what I love about being a woman in a workplace of smart women?

True, but the truck shop next door could have been venting other crap, too.

Well, husband is going to get a huge hug when he comes home because he doesn't do this kind of thing at all. I may make him his favorite roast chicken too.

Now, that's a great idea.

I'll take him over Piers Morgan anyday. Also, Top Gear can be pretty fucking hilarious... This coming from a woman who doesn't give a flying rat's ass about cars. I catch it when husband is watching, pretty witty stuff.

Wasn't it the administration that mishandled the case?

And they're all complete assholes, so I vote we ship 'em off.

Uh oh. Husband will be sad when he hears this, but probably not surprised.

And by the time you're 45, you'll have gotten rid of a lot of this crap in favor of piles of comfy leggings. Except for the secret cash and vibrator, of course.

Hey, thanks for this! I've put on 20 lbs this year because of eating my way through considerable stress. I've stopped putting weight on, and I'm working out again... But dammit, none of my clothes fit. I need some cute stuff for summer and that Kiyonna has some great dresses! Thanks for making me feel hopeful

I have not combed nor brushed my hair in over 20 years. I have 3a/b curls down to the middle of my back. I soak in conditioner, then comb trough with my fingers to detangle. I pat my hair dry, add Miss Jessie's, finger style and clip for height, done.

My secret: once a week, I coat my hair in coconut oil and hang out in a sunny spot for an hour. Wash out with sulfate-free shampoo, then condition with Fekkai.
