"Adaptation" has a period after it. I can't possibly recommend that movie highly enough to do it justice.

I assure you, all of your driving issues in GTA IV were just that...your issues.

That's just daft. Leasing a brand new one would have been cheaper and better.

Porting iOS to non-Apple products would be a worthless venture. The "magic" happens when the software and hardware are designed by the same firm. They are unique to one another, and there is definitely value in that. Put iOS on any other smartphone, and it quickly becomes apparent that Google's (free, open source)

Sure, and I recall doing that from time-to-time (I no longer have an iPad), but the text copying in iOS was (still is?) a clunky mess, so I just put up with Safari more often than not. I suspect the vast majority of users, having less patience for, and knowledge of, work-arounds than myself, would do the same.

I think the word "recycling" covers this concept well enough.

I miss the days when people would get banned for this shit. Or that shit.

I think you meant to say "some individuals have already made shit like this (pic related) and make 3D printing awesome for the rest of us.

It is, and I did use Chrome on my iPad, but whenever links are clicked from another app, it launches Safari. Most of the time that was a minor annoyance, but email links not opening in the browser where my passwords were stored and I had active sessions seemed like an unnecessary pain in the ass.

What an odd aspiration.

I disagree. If they had gone after the lion's share of the market, Google would have had a tougher time matching their market share, granted, but matching their brand worth would be much easier. Apple carved out a specific niche as the consumer electronic's company for opulent artistic types, and they are going to

You are unable to set them as default, and Safari is given access that other browsers don't have in iOS to make sure it is always the fastest when tested. The differences between the two cases are mighty thin.

Yeah, this comment system is like a scavenger hunt. If Plan C is suicide, then does there really need to be any further Plans?

Have you ever been inside?

No contract doesn't mean unsubsidized. While the $12 phone in this article isn't the best phone to get at that price point, the difference is still significant for many reasons that do not include purchase decisions.

Take another look at the Elvis picture. That is clearly not a phone of any kind.

A longtime friend of mine was the first one to find this, it's kind of odd to see it on Gizmodo now a week or so later, particularly when it doesn't look much like a crime scene upon close inspection.

I'm inclining to agree, at least I was. The article is/was all about something that will clearly be in the past, below all else. I don't think our should be discussing such things in a place like that.

Good god man, what is your point?
