In addition to Tyler Breeze’s, uh, faulty tweets....I think MVP deserved to be called out here as well. “The worthless critics who contribute nothing to our industry...” is just a complaint about the dirt sheets and has nothing to do with this particular situation. Other than opportunists like him, it seems like a lot

That’s really interesting. One of those things that seems like to should be obvious once you read it, but doesn’t cross your mind until then.

Well, there’s no “maybe Grant Hill stays healthy” since he was injured in Detroit before even signing with Orlando. But yeah, it’s crazy to think about how different the entire league might’ve been if he signed with Orlando. The Spurs don’t eliminate the Lakers in 2003, so either the Lakers win their 4th straight

New England actually traded up two spots on draft day to draft Gronk....their trade partner? Oakland, of course. The Raiders instead took Lamarr Houston, who moved to Chicago after four seasons and is now probably most famous for tearing his ACL while celebrating a sack, against....the Patriots, of course. Jimmy

Nobody tell Danny Kanell!

So...innocent until proven guilty to the point that nobody should even discuss the possibility they might’ve done it until a court says so, unless it’s a police officer, then they’re clearly all guilty right away? That’s one hell of a double standard.

I am so sick of this “INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY!!!1!!12" garbage. This is Deadspin, not a court of law. Chris Burke is an author, not a judge or jury. Innocent until proven guilty has never and will never apply to a public forum. Just like freedom of speech doesn’t apply here. Let me guess, you think freedom of

Fascinating theory. I wonder if he has a scientific explanation for why players in other sports don’t get sad because they’re not famous anymore. You know, except for a relatively small percentage of hockey players, who “coincidentally” had a lot of concussions. And boxers.

Has there ever been anybody as bitter about anything as Donovan was and still is about being left off that WC team?

Close, but no cigar. You’re forgetting the fact that “batting around” isn't just one full round, it's starting the *second* round in the same inning. If the ninth batter makes the third out, they were unable to successfully go all the way around and keep going.

Victims of domestic violence do this all the time, unfortuntely. Surprised they charged her, but I assume they were just trying to call her bluff and get her to take back her (likely false) recantation.

We've all worked for that boss who rejected everybody's ideas on the spot, only to turn around and implement them as their own. Apparently the NFL is no different.

Wow. Good on Mysterio for pulling up on the 619 right after the injury happened. That could've saved his life, if not for Konnan coming over and violently shaking him for a good 30 seconds. Between his ignorance and the referee's incompetence(STOP THE MATCH!!!)...I don't even know what to say. Just awful. I feel

Perro was supposed to stay kneeling on the second rope and take a 619 from Mysterio. He was clearly set up for it initially, but Mysterio stopped because he realized the guy was hurt, so he did it to his partner instead. Plus when guys are selling, they're obviouly still able to talk. Konnan didn't even go over there

Holy hell. Is this the referee's first match??? STOP THE MATCH!!! He was clearly aware the guy was hurt, the other wrestlers stopped to check on him a few times, but the doofus just stands there staring at him like he's afraid he'll catch whatever Perro has if he gets within 10 feet of him. STOP. THE. FUCKING.

Holy hell, he actually said "mostly white." I was expecting this to be one of those situations where something was implied...but he just came right out and said he likes Oregon because the people are mostly white. Wow.

...if he got a DWI, why didn't the court take away his car?

"You're going to love us one day and hate us the next."

I knew there would be one extraordinarily stupid comment, and here it is. What do you think would happen if the media just said "ok, no big deal" if an athlete refused to talk to them? EVERY ATHLETE WOULD REFUSE TO TALK TO THEM! They have to make it as difficult as possible, and make them as miserable as possible,

There are aspects of my job I don't like either, but I still do them. The vast majority of people in this country probably don't like everything that goes with their job. That doesn't mean they can pick and choose what they do and don't do.
