It lacked polish, but the gameplay was the best in the series IMO. With more experience, time, and budget, it could have been one of the greats

I actually have a HOTAS that i use for my IL2 Sturmovik’n, but i prefer my xbox gamepad for this. I guess its just more relaxing to just chill with my hands in my lap, plus my Python isn’t exactly nimble enough to require precise steering.

Bounty/Pirate hunting is definitely fun, but the money is in trading. Grind until you’re bored of it, the get an attack or exploration ship. You can also get a multi-role ship. You can swap out your modules and do whatever you want.

If there is a game that doesn’t eventually get boring I’d love to know about it. $60 for 300 hours of my time is more than acceptable
