When you are happy to sell it 6-9 months later, as I did with an RSX automatic (BLECH) and a Saab 9-3 2.0t Sportcombi (dull handling, rattles for days, manual tranmission and clutch more vague than a politician’s answer to any direct question.)

I agree; between the 2.0T PP and the VR6 there’s not much in it performance wise, but older buyers seem to rely on cylinder count not power-to-weight ratios.

You’re not missing much from Anchor - their wings always seemed salty and a little flavorless in comparison to Duff’s.

I get the 1.8t being the default Jetta/Golf engine, but not using the 2.0t GTI mill in the Passat lineup is boggling.
