~$383,580 give or take 10 grand.

Of course, the next Camaro is poised to replace the Corvette as the champion of the layout and performance/cost/utility equation.

GM really hates small cars it seems.

Passat W8s are indeed rare, but the sellers of these (and I’ve seen a bunch in the last few years) subscribe to the DJT school of “facts.”

I don’t get it either, it seems like they were teetering on the financial brink with the initial $11k outlay and somehow expected a 17+ year old car to be as painless to run as a 3 year old Corolla.

This is actually really reasonable, if you’re a collector and can afford more. Considering perfect E36s can cost well north of $20k now he’s doing pretty well ATC.

ROBOTS.

The point where country and hip hop crossover is in-song car reviews.

I think calling this a “coverup” is woefully misleading: both the manufacturer of trucks and the buyers really don’t want to deal with a illusory lab-test MPG number. An improvement from 10 to 11 MPG over 10,000 miles saves the same amount of gas (100 gallons) as an improvement from 33 to 50 MPG. Yet the different

Having only driven the original NSX, in 1991 Spec with just a tune and comptech headers it’s clear how the new one could better it: driving older Porsches and a few newer ones has prepared me for that.

I wish Nissan hadn’t put the upsweep line on the base of the headlights. Look at the American competition, and the base line of the headlights is always horizontal. A horizontal line emphasizes the width, power, and stance of the truck.

I would rather spend $5500 on a solitary Ferrari brake disk than have one of these. Or an M5 brake disk and caliper and a bicycle. Or two used Honda 750s and an umbrella.

Is Jeep a luxury brand or what? I can’t get my head around it. If they waste time going upmarket can they really compete with Land Rover / Range Rover? If they increase the quality level of the lower end product, does that dilute the “Jeepness?”

I didn’t put out any scenario, just posted numbers. The article linked in the post made assumptions:

These are the top 3 median household incomes by metro area. I don’t think anyone making even $63,000 should even think about a car that costs half their salary. Yet people do.

As a complete work it isn’t art, for all those who claim so. It isn’t sculpture either. It IS hellaflush though, not stance.

I think most TDI owners prioritized low fuel economy without sacrificing driving pleasure ( I know I did.) The real search for most TDI owners will be other cars that fit that mindset.

Lots of manual E91s!!! I bought an automatic, and my Golf was DSG... but you can find manual E91s :)

I wonder if where the manufacturers are heading is a world where they each own their own AI that controls ALL the cars they produce and deploy around the globe.
