I fully expect consolidation and layoffs as brands start disappearing under Stellantis.

It’s really, really, really clear that many of the bloggers here have never worked in any kind of actual organization ever
Ehh I drive a Scat Pack Charger and I don’t associate with the dudebros. It’s just super affordable power in a nice packaging. Totally get it though, personally I can’t stand many Mopar events, too many mouthbreathers
Dodge has reaped a lot of reward from their sponsorship of these movies. Loved when the new ‘11 Chargers debuted in Fast 5. Even though they mysteriously changed to 2010 ones later on
We might still have a Dodge Stealth! Complete with goofy front-trunk wing!
It looks a little bottom heavy because of the lower modified fascia. Restore stock and I bet it looks more proportioned. I like it, looks clean
I test drove a Model 3 Performance and the acceleration really is insane. 0-60 was like a rocketship, made my wife shout and my dad nauseous, but even cooler is the 50-70 acceleration. You think and it just goes. It really makes that downshifting in a normal ICE engine and transmission really archaic and slow.
I’m going to be the old bastard trotting out a 40 yr old classic Viper SRT next to my Teslas.
I see the paint all came pre-faded, just like my local one
100% non-failure rate!
I bought 3M Clear Guards - you can’t even see them and they serve the same purpose.
Fair enough. I’m coincidentally exactly on the other side of that; been driving Camaros and Chargers for 15+ years and am ready to trade in my ‘16 Scat Pack for a Model 3 Performance. I just don’t need all the pomp and circumstance, noise and fumes that a musclecar brings - it was great fun but I’d rather just have…
Can’t wait. Automakers outside of Tesla are finally embracing performance in EVs as an attractive trait rather than just range and battery size. More affordable mass-market performance ones, to be exact. The future’s here and I’m all for it
This is literally what I tell my 6 yr old after he gets excited by the umpteenth Civic or G35 that rolls by slowly with a loud exhaust. Loud != fast.
I’ll also add symmetry - if both headlights were dark, if all the trim is dark, sure. One mismatched part? Looks like poop
All costs have already been sunk and it costs them nothing to generate sales. Why wouldn’t you keep selling if people will keep buying, even with rebates?
Can’t you unwind the title/sale or retitle the vehicle? More paperwork and headaches?
Different - they didn’t take “911" or “Carrera” and make it into a brand. I’m all for different segments, and don’t mind the Mach-E taking the Mustang name, but I get the purists who don’t want to dilute a brand.
Look at the uproar that the Mach-E is facing from people. “iT’s nOt A MUsTanG.” Corvette is an even more storied brand/nameplate than Mustang, I’m sure that factors into their decisionmaking.
Tesla already tried this and gave it up after very low engagement and interest from owners.
