I purposefully bought Bose QC25 noise cancelling headphones instead of the newer model with rechargeable battery - been burned by headphones dying on a plane w/ no means to recharge it too many times. I just carry an extra AAA battery this way and blissfully listen noise-free.

I’ve been that way for a while.  Love the AC games but know what you get - a lot of grind (much of it fun) and an annual/bi-annual refresh.  I can wait.

The thing with the Goo Gone and WD-40 is, you probably rubbed some of the clearcoat off those areas.  When I wash my car after I replaced my Scat Pack’s R/T badge with the Bee badge from ‘18+ models, there’s a small area around the badge where the water sticks to the body.  Not a huge deal.
