Extended warranties are like insurance policies (exactly like insurance policies), down to a prorated refund if you cancel it.  You can always shop around for better deals after the fact.

Technically correct is a shitty excuse though.  I ate a sandwich yesterday.  TSLA stock price dove.  Technically that’s correct, but it’s got absolutely zero correlation with each other.  I agree with OP - it’s getting tiresome reading these articles.  I basically only click on Shilling/Bradley articles just to see

“As a journalist”

If you’re really into EVs and want the absolute fastest shit on the road, you’d go with Tesla.  I’m kinda with you in that I don’t want my car to look and feel the same as a 2016 pre-owned Model S 75, but I can understand the appeal.  I’d get a Taycan at that price, more distinctive while bringing all the EV power.

This isn’t a “bad mood today” article, this is a “let’s shit on Tesla” article which is way too prevalent on this site. Why do you think Schnac posted about it? Because everyone can see the bias. It would be awesome to have a technical article presenting facts rather than your opinions everywhere.

TSLA hasn’t followed any conventional rhyme or reason this year, and seems to ebb and flow on a whim or Musk’s tweets. His missive that these wouldn’t be in mass production for years certainly didn’t help things ahead of the event.

I know it’s semantics but making EV calculations follow established and known MPG measures (higher is better) makes the change go down easier, as opposed to converting it the other way.  There’re people that get legit mad that mags like Motor Trend even cover EVs, so imagine that they have to now adjust their thinking

What would be the difference? Gas vehicle owners and manufacturers would still continue to use MPG while EV owners would use PPM just like they use MPGe. You wouldn’t be able to convince the former to adopt a new power measure.

When you see a Tesla bashing post or a post that starts with “You people...”, 60% of the time it’s Shilling 100% of the time.

Same - my Charger and Pacifica’s auto wipers work great and appropriately, an old Lexus I had was hypersensitive at all the wrong times.

Do you not get severe smudging with that much Rain-X?  I used it a lot in the mid 2000s but it left a definitive line where the wipers stop on the up sweep.  I use the Rain-X windshield washer fluid now and it works great.

I wanted to like it after seeing it in pictures, but in person it’s just as ungainly. The X and Y look like a breadbasket and a beestung 3, respectively.

Silly bastard, none of those facts will get clicks like shitting on Tesla.  Get woke

I’ve got fond memories of going to the Detroit Auto Show when it was 4 deg outside in January and riding the People Mover. God help you if a Wings game was letting out at the same time at Joe Louis; you may be standing on that platform freezing your ass off for a loooong time

I had a situation the other day where I laid on the horn while slamming on the brakes as someone cut my lane across the road - it’s instinct, but had there been impact (maybe two feet away from collision) the airbag would have torn off my hand.  I’ve been in an offset collision before where my right thumb was near the

Aftermarket decal makers are already hard at work.

Retro advertising - taking “Like a Rock” literally.

So what customer commissioned these?  Title says customer commissioned but article mentions all 5 have been spoken for.  Did McLaren build these and then sell them, or were they ordered?  And by whom?

You didn’t play well enough.  I was always good for two (2) Tootsie Rolls.
