But what can you do except dumb it down to the lowest IQ denominator? If the CDC said “yes, masks can protect, but save the N95s for health care workers”, you’d see such a run on all masks that many more people in hospitals wouldn’t be able to get their hands on it. People were hoarding TP, paper towels, napkins - you

Holy shit his face is peak punchable.

I’m holding off on bringing my PHEV in for that fire risk, because from what people are saying online, it seems like a waste of time. IF the dealer actually knows what recall you’re referring to (a remarkable number do not), it’s only an inspection, and if they find anything like corrosion they basically keep the van

North DFW/Plano

Try growing up in another part of the country where things aren’t as opportune. I literally moved here and then job hunted when I was let go in 2008 from a job in Michigan, grew up there.  Things have worked out gangbusters for me here in Texas.

There’s a ton of headquarters just in my 10 sq mi area.  Texas Instruments, Dr Pepper/Snapple Group, Neiman Marcus (well, not for much longer), etc

Weird position. A TON of people choose to move here, literally millions every year, to the point where natives bitch about Californians invading. Low cost of living, no income tax, cheap land, lots of jobs.

I don’t get J’Onn’s powers - I mean, everything’s shapeshifting. He doesn’t have to turn his version of Supergirl’s pant suit into nuthuggers - just loosen them up half an inch.

Was Orlove dictating his response, or real-time typing it out in Slack or something?  How is only a portion of it submitted?

I have great memories of road trips.  We took out the second row in our Voyager, put comforters and blankets there and played around the whole time.  Seat restraints and car seats?  Pfffft

“If it can’t match my F150 in my extremely small application use cases in Texas Hill Country, then EVs can’t possibly be a viable thing.” -noname

Dunno...the signal mysteriously cut out for a few seconds, and then when it connected again the rocket was already on the booster...conspiracy???

The Model S still looks really sharp. Refreshing it might be nice but it’s not like it looks like dogshit.

Totally unrelated - when I say, “Alexa, play the Pulp Fiction soundtrack” it starts with Pumpkin and Honey Bunny, but then goes to Royale with Cheese instead of Misirlou. It’s happened multiple times.

If that’s the case, Toyota designers have had COVID for the last ten years

The last car that literally made my jaw drop is the Lexus LC 500.  It’s low and wide and has so much presence.  The one place where the spindle grille works...so beautiful.

The new bumper by itself looks like of sedate, but when compared to the stock one, SOOOOO much better.  The OEM one looks like a horror movie where a beast ripped the lower jaw off of its victim.

Yea - when my wife asked me to help move a snapping turtle from the road, it took my stick and snapped it in half, and I nope’d back to my car.

Chrysler dealers make exactly $120 profit on every PHEV sold.  This is one of the main reasons why Chrysler and dealers don’t bother educating or advertising the PHEV.  In any case, with the $7500 tax credit, the PHEV Limited becomes slightly cheaper than a gas Limited, equally equipped.  So it’s actually a bargain,

They already blew up the very few times the fires happened.  That it happens only up North tells you something about the corrosion condition.
