Agree - I have a Pacifica Hybrid and see those savings daily. I just don’t like how Tesla defaults their pricing to “Include Potential Savings” even though we can toggle. Marketing and Sales 101 I guess - flash a lower number up and the shopper will gravitate to that. Reminds me of how Spirit’s “low price” not

Is...is that a giant air scoop above the rear wheels

Savings is not bullshit but I don’t appreciate Tesla deriving a “gas savings” price and putting it on their website. Yes, there will be a gas savings but it depends on so many factors (time of charge, cost per kwh, availability to superchargers, commute, etc etc) that every single person will have a different savings

I’m right on the verge.  You’re probably right.

I think it sounds ridiculous too but honestly, I’m not against being “woke” as a concept. Our kids’ babysitter is super aware of political issues and while she instagrams and selfies as much as any millenial, she also has an active stance on a lot of today’s social issues and hot topics. When I was her age, my biggest

“Wrong way! Stupid...bitch”

Ehh I’ve done 0-60 in my Charger with my kids in their carseats.  They like the noise.

So my set appointment time basically means jack shit then? Or is it just a continual rolling backlog of vehicles, so an appointment is basically a “here’s your spot in line, it’ll be ready in X min/days?”

That’s if I can get them to replace the parts.  I’ve been told that if they can’t identify the issue, they can’t fix anything.

Hmm ok - it should probably be made clear that Tom means regular maintenance service, and not warranty work.

If you take your car (within the first 3 yrs/36k miles) for warrantable work at an independent shop, does the onus then fall on you to prove that it was in fact warrantable?  I fear that to claim reimbursement on the repair afterwards gives the OEM every possible out for not paying you back - anything from “do not

My main problems with dealers are: 1) they can never diagnose the issue, if it’s not blatantly obvious (CEL on, or engine not running; otherwise, pretty much every other issue is “cannot identify/did not hear issue”, and 2) they always take fucking forever. Alignments are covered for 1 year for new FCA vehicles; when

There’re some things in life, where you look at them, and think, that shouldn’t be able to be, but is

As well, I wonder why ships carry cargo but cars carry shipments.

Every time someone suggests the SS, I wonder why the Charger isn’t mentioned in the same breath. Yes, no manual and more shouty, but still awesome.

Do you mean SXT?

Absolutely love it. We had a Jeep GC before this and it was fine for two kids, but the sliding doors and low entry points make it so much easier to load them up with all their gear. On top of that, it’s got a tri-pane panoramic sunroof and awesome interior touchpoints. Best part is with the hybrid, we get 28-30 miles

That’s why I brag about my Pacifica Hybrid.  It’s a plug-in, see, so I can assert my smugness at the charging station but I technically don’t have to wait for it, as I can pull out and go get gas.  Also, I’m now driving a minivan so there’s nothing you can say that will emasculate me any further /s
