Edit: The final sentence in the third paragraph should read:

And I will call you "limpdick," limpdick...for obvious reasons. So, it's not the person who says the N-word who is the racist, it's the person who decries it? It's not the person who uses misogynistic words who is the misogynist; it's the person who decries their use? That's pure nonsense.

The only one trivializing misogyny is you by consistently using misogynistic words as your insults of choice on this thread. Defending that usage doesn't help you either. Of course those misogynystic words "roll off your tongue;" you clearly enjoy using them.

Yes, calling someone, particularly a "twat" is misogynistic. It is a derogatory use of a derogatory reference to female genitalia. The fact you don't consider it misogynist further confirms your misogyny.

Firstly, reading does not necessitate successful analysis, even if you assure it "occurred." So, your asserting gamergate showed more critical thought from your unscientific analysis of posts from one article clearly shows your bias towards gamergate and your "horse in the race."

I'm not interpreting anything. You specifically said "twat," you got called out on its misogyny and you're backpedalling pathetically...:)

Yes, you do have a horse in this race. As I said earlier, your claiming the "gamergate" side has shown more "critical thought," without any substantial examples of such a leaning, confirms your bias. You would have had to do substantial analysis of both sides posts to make such a weighted assertion in an unbiased

Insulting a woman without resorting to misogyny is just insulting a woman. Insulting a woman misogynistically is misogyny. Your use of "twat," a derogatory term for a woman's genitalia in an insulting manner is a perfect example of such misogyny.

A safe space for men to discuss women without a female audience is fine, as is a safe space for women to discuss men without a male audience.

I know that and you failed to do so. As I showed above, Sarkeesian didn't "delegitimate" feminism.

I know that and you failed to show how it can happen on a case-by-case basis. As I shoed above, she didn't "delegitimate" feminism.

Nasty misogynistic comments like the "manipulative twats" one you provided are a perfect example. You might have just been one of the "cunts" you mentioned. What a shock. Sarkeesian endured many such personal attacks on her twitter and on other sites, which you know very well.

First of all, there is no anti-gamergate side. There are only people opposed to misogynistic harassment of women gamergate deems their enemies. If gamergate actually only pursued their nebulous "cause" of "ethics in journalism" there would be no conflict.

A safe space that women aren't supposed to read? That doesn't sound like a safe space at all. Does it sound like one to you?

I'm sure you did.

Gamergate isn't about misogyny but you hate Sarkeesian for her opinions on video games? You guys just can't stop shooting yourself in the rhetorical foot.

And that's your opinion. You don't care what "genitals"—as you so vulgarly put it—of the character you play are. However, some game players do. Some players want to play characters of their same sex and gender. Who are you to tell someone to think otherwise?

First of all, the fact that the trope's a "variant of the grail quest story" in no way debunks her correct assertion that damsels in distress argue women's weakness.

And that excuses it's horrid anti-semitism how?

You also don't directly address the same group of people who have been harassing and threatening you, no matter how much they claim to be "helping" you.
