I hope the push for more global motorsport coverage brings us more well commentated rally content. It's eminently more watchable than some other mainstream motorsport.

It's not a fast car, but it is more fun to drive than anything on the road. Especially this winter. Buy a set of snow tires, turn traction control off, and if you live anywhere but california, texas, or florida you are having a blast. The predictability is amazing.

Sure, you have to come out of the corner. But if you're driving this car properly, you've already blown your lap time by taking that corner completely sideways and the straight is just a leisurely trip to catch your breath before getting to the next one.

Don't use logic when discussing the automotive industry. You'll hurt yourself.

And this is why rally is the best kind of racing. It's relatable. Of course the WRC spec cars are otherworldly in their setup, but they are still based on cars you can buy at a dealership, which is more than almost any other kind of racing can say. This is more of an aggressive commute than a race.

I have those exact same mixed feelings. People have asked if one of us would like to come along for their record run, I always say no. I don't find it safe. I don't find it appealing. That being said, it's news whether we want it to be and at least this allows us to show how hard it is and how hard the burden of proof
