Kelly Rowland for Maryland???

And, of course, if you want to tie these two together in a horribly unfair, super awkward, but kinda funny way, there's this:

Really?

"let's take a look at any one of Bill Plaschke's columns, or anything that Skip Bayless writes, ever."

"and this particular alchemy has minted gold"

This was interesting...

Only lugers film in vertical video...

Common thread in each of these stories of how teams accepted these players? The Media didn't get involved and make it a "distraction". Most people are capable of treating teammates with the respect they deserve, it's the excessive attention and that bothers most people more than the gay player himself.

Reporting you to Jezebel. +1

This is my point, you're assuming that it's hate on the part of the players and THAT'S bullshit.

I missing people are misinterpreting the "distraction" thing. The distraction isn't the fact that he's gay. At this level, players will accept other players. Hell, Riley Cooper's racism didn't destroy a locker room full of black athletes this year for the Eagles. The players will be professionals.

"making Jackson the third black quarterback to play in and win a Super Bowl."

I know right? Everyone knows they're mostly Hispanic and Native American... #nothelping.

"The only thing proven by this video—is that referees and clock officials often fuck things up in ways that affect the outcome of the game."

"I somehow managed to not get shit on my zubaz shorts"

Seems like it... I mean they ALL blow up on the final play.

The female equivalent of the "Friendzone" is probably the "Hookup Zone".

I think MORE sports could use a system that looks at a team's "performances holistically, and not just at the most recent competitions".

I hate refuting based on specific examples, but how does this narrative fit a guy like Muhammad Ali or more recently Kevin Garnett? How is it that these "arrogant", loud black can be embraced more readily by white America?
