Is that normal or was it a hot spell for that time of year? I went to St. George Island in FL last winter and it was 60s during the day and 50s at night. Last year, it was 70 degrees on Christmas day in Atlanta. I was pissed.

I’m in Atlanta, and fall has pretty much disappeared for us, too. It was in the 90s almost every day in September. Yesterday was our first day under 80 since like March. It’s terrible, I used to love fall so much.
That kitchen is hideous, but the Turkish bath room is absolutely beautiful.
My advisor in college was an Austen scholar, and that’s pretty much how he taught Pride and Prejudice. I remember one of his first lectures on the novel, and he opened with, “SEX! This book is ALL SEX!” He’d be so happy to read this article.
I mean that seems like a pretty winning strategy to me. I can’t be mad at it. I also can’t not watch some of her dumb rom-coms if they come on TV. My boyfriend and I watched Along Came Polly not too long ago. And I remember liking Picture Perfect when it came out, but I was also like 13 when it came out so I wasn’t…
I’d add The Breakup to that list. I thought that was a good movie.
Yeah, this article is garbage.
This is the perfect comment to this story. I knew there would be a perfect gif somewhere in here, and I didn’t know what it would be, but you did it. Bravo.
Ohhhh, you’re in Germany, that makes sense then. In the U.S. it’s pretty much either Rebecca or Rebekah, and I don’t think the name has been popular enough recently to generate any “creative” alternate spellings.
My mom and dad had picked out Laura for my little sister while my mom was still pregnant, but when she came out, they kept accidentally calling her Rachel, because they said she just looked like a Rachel. So her name is Rachel.
Rebecka with that spelling? I’m a Rebecca, and I’ve never seen that spelling before. I know lots of Rebekahs and Rebeccas, but not Rebecka. I did once meet a girl who introduced herself, phonetically, as “Becca,” and came to find later that she spells it “Beka.” That’s not a thing!
My friends and I regularly reference the text message/search history skit.
I love Peyton’s SNLs. Eli has a few funny skits, too.
Derek Jeter looks like a muppet. I will never get the appeal.
It's a book by Kate Atkinson. I recommend it!
Jesus. That's like a darker/bizarro version of Viola and Sunny in A God in Ruins.
It’s a relatively new phenomenon. It didn’t used to be this big, but now it’s a five-day festival. On my mile walk to work this morning, I saw a guy dressed as a samurai, another as Han Solo, a grim reaper, and a pokemon. And it’s only Thursday! Things get crazy over the weekend (we also have college football kickoff…
I just like that they end each at on a view from the Jackson Street Bridge. That’s a block from my house!
Sittin’ in my office downtown right now, where I can hear live music wafting up from the weekly Peachtree Center market and see all the Dragon Con folks. I’ve been walking to work lately, too, and noticing so much downtown.
My friends starting working on their Dragon Con outfits like six months ahead of time.
