Nope, ban the kids.

No, we ban children. Get your own damn childcare. If you can afford to attend a TED conference, you can afford a sitter or daycare.

Because any parent entitled enough to bring small children to a lecture in the first place is going to be far too entitled to remove themselves from the conference when little Kynnzie starts being a nuisance.

Maybe you’re just not bright enough to appreciate the subtle nuances.

It’s a bunch of self-important rich people giving pretentious lectures and stating the blindingly obvious to a bunch of other self-important rich people who have paid a lot of money to be seen attending a TED Talk.

Or, you know, people can be responsible for their own childcare and sitter. If you can afford to attend a TED Talk, you can afford a damn babysitter.

Yes, I find nothing helps me concentrate on a lecture like the sound of a dozen screaming babies all around me.

Or perhaps people should stop selfishly having children.

NO U.

And like most TED Talks, nothing material whatsoever will be accomplished because of it, except for a bunch of wealthy liberal attendees becoming briefly exalted over what good people they are for attending a TED Talk.

Thank you so much! I hope they don’t, either!

“Do we drive or fly?”

Clearly you were raised by the kind of overly-indulgent, hippy-dippy parents who would take their child on a plane. :(

Don’t be silly. Of course you can fly back to see him on the weekends.

Obviously your parents let you run screaming around an airplane, instead of staying indoors and never going anywhere, like reasonable people.

Your family members moved to the other side of the country to get away from you, and you’re following them, with your horrible, ill-behaved children in tow? Jesus. Some people have absolutely no class.

See, now THIS is a rational response from a well-adjusted individual.

“Not every person with a child is a self absorbed asshole raising a self absorbed asshole.”

No, I’m pretty sure they are.

Not as much as it sucks for all the people around you entitled parents and your horrible, ill-behaved spawn, apparently.

I was always an adult, because I realized at a very early age how much children suck, and was having none of it.
