That's cuz orangeys are the best! Ours has never actually gotten a proper name for some reason, just a bunch of affectionate nicknames... I've recently taken to calling him Wild Sweet Orange... Also one of my favorite teas :) LOL

Oh don't worry - our house is rescue/stray heaven. We already have a rescued pittie mix that we adopted last summer after losing our 15 year old lab (who was a stray). We don't plan on adding another dog but if at some point we do it will be a rescue. We've got 4 cats, the puppy, and a snake plus our outdoor bunny -…
SO. GROSS. This is THE ONLY case where I think a "stand your ground" law is acceptable. Fly your drone up my ass/in front of my window/etc? I'm shooting that shit out of the sky!
I have one of these cats... I soooo don't understand it. He is a big orange tomcat - a stray that adopted us four or five years ago. He's big, has some seriously sharp claws, and will murder the hell out of any small animal on our farm - from squirrels to full grown rabbits. For reals, he is a feline serial killer.
I don't think he looks pit at all - very long pointed snout rather than the shorter, bigger pittie snout. I'm seeing lab, maybe some shepherd? Looks like a dingo actually - so probably a mutt of multiple breeds.
OMG she's BEAUTIFUL! Just what my SO wants too - either her color or a blue. So, so pretty :)
YES! I was soooo glad. My dog gets the side eye a lot because he's pittie/cattle dog mix, both of which people seem to think are aggressive. I also get tons of compliments on how beautiful he is - it seems to be about 50/50 between side eye and adoration. In any case - just very, very glad it wasn't a pittie.
Seriously!!! I moved back in with my parents during a rough patch when I was 26 - 27. If I had asked my mom to do my laundry or pack me a lunch she'd have told me to go kick rocks! And deservedly so...
This interview was really odd, but I found the pet name thing to be the least weird thing about it. The only thing that made that part weird for me is the fact that my SO calls me rabbit sometimes too.... Usually he goes with breadsticks, but sometimes rabbit. LOL.
I'm probably the reason Seattle is number 2. The amount of money I spend on my menagerie is obscene. The horses are by far the biggest wallet drain but I have not yet found a toy that our puppy can't destroy in an hour or less so pound for pound he's probably running pretty close to my hooved menaces.
Whats a Diplo? Like... Those giant Legos I had when I was a kid?
Yes, she seems like a super cool and very intelligent kid. It took me well into my 20's to realize that I don't know everything and that life is very, very fluid!
HAHAHA, your dog's whining in the background just sent my dog into a barking, whining freakout. He's now tearing around the house trying to find your dog :)
You are right, this story is hideous... But I think the I's and me's are INCREDIBLY important. Look at how many people here have had children in their lives who are abused. Look at how many people here HAVE gone to the authorities and have seen absolutely nothing done. We ARE talking about this story by addressing the…
It's also incredibly frustrating when you report someone and there is absolutely nothing they can do. We reported my SO's ex-wife a few weeks ago because she and her boyfriend got into a physical altercation (started by ex-wife, as is the norm) in front of SO's kids and when his son tried to get help his ex-wife…
There are certainly great horses that do know the difference. - my pony and two of my current horses are great examples of that. My current show horse is a very big 17.1 hands but he has carted my BFs daughter around since she was 5. He's incredibly sweet with her and all kids - he absolutely loves them. Many, many do…
That is the sweetest story! My old man turns 31 this May. I've had him since I was 10 and ours has been my longest and greatest friendship. I have been extremely lucky to spend the last three years with him as my SO and I took over my family's farm. I have tried to think about preparing for the inevitable but even…
Funny how that works isn't it? My now 31 year old is/was the same. Absolutely the best horse I've ever known in every way - but of course he was the one we bought out of a field for a few hundred dollars. I like to think that we got the deal of the century because as it turned out, there isn't enough money in the…
This video makes me SQUEEEE! But it also makes me cringe. Cinnamon is a total saint, very few horses can be trusted to be that conscientious and careful with a kid that small. Not sure I would do that (actually I know I wouldn't, cuz my SO has kids quite a bit older than this one and they are only allowed to lead one…
THIS. Years ago I was taking a business law class. We veered a little off subject into criminal law territory during a discussion as he had formerly worked as a defense attorney (possibly a public defender? I can't recall). He said he often had people ask him - how can you defend that "clearly guilty" person? I wish I…
