There is a run button. It’s not fast running, but it’s definitely there.

Let’s be honest; this article is more about strategically trying to make people feel the same way the author does than actually informing people of anything useful. The author clearly hates AI, and wants other people on the hate train, so they’re writing this piece about something that they wouldn’t give a damn about

You also just spend significantly more time like, talking to people and having conversations, getting to know the characters rather than “4 lines of exposition that leads to you killing a bunch of people and blowing up a silo or something”. There’s a lot of really memorable quests in 2077 and I honestly don’t think I

The Startfield lady looks 10 times better but that’s not saying much considering Bethesda’s NPCs all look like haggard monsters.

Does she though? I’d expect Solid Snake, Liquid Snake, Col. Campbell, and Meryl to all have more dialog than she does.  Maybe even Otacon.

So many are against CC and their AI stuff and say its off topic. It shows you never watched their videos then as they said AI is part of being a visual effects artists. It’s another tool for people in the field to use. Lets face it, the hate just comes from boomer type minded people who don’t like progress.

Not that it justifies it, but how is different than any other job? Did it take her more than 20 hours to record everything? My company makes millions off my work too. Its shitty capitalism, but its what everyone else experiences in their work life.

Adjusted for inflation, she made the equivalent of $2,260.31. Not a killing, but not bad for a day or two’s work.

Dont sign contracts you dont agree with children.

Nobody knew how huge MSG would become when she recorded those lines.  Nobody forced her to take the gig.  If it didn’t pay enough she shouldn’t have agreed to it.  Should they pay more?  Sure.  Did anyone force her to accept their offer?  No.

Pretty sure it keeps a pretty consistent 20k or so on Steam, which is way better than most games can hope for. Right now it’s at 42k. That’s not nothing for a game that everyone thought would immediately tank.

Dropping a huge percentage isn’t necessarily a big deal if the starting numbers were crazy high. It’s just

These images are so offensive that Microsoft needs to be taken to task for allowing them to exist, yet not too offensive to be used as the lead images on a video game blog.

Vehicles...it needed vehicles badly. Not super fast ones, but just slightly faster than run speed where you don’t lose oxygen. A buggy of some sort. Then you’d actually WANT to drive out to that 1200m away POI to see what it is.

It’s gotten so bad that when I see a specific mountain with a structure POI in the distance, I know to climb up the backside so I can shoot the one guard sitting in a chair before entering the Deserted UC Listening Post.

Nobody hit anyone with layoffs. These highly profitable companies who post record profits year after year actively chose to lay people off to help make their earnings look better for shareholders

Oh the same Epic that is paying boat loads of money to game devs to keep their games EGS exclusive? That took their games off mobiles because they didn’t want to pay the App Store cuts?

That completely reasonable Epic games that has a game store that bleeds money but keeps insisting on throwing more and more cash

LOL I love how you say that ridiculously invalid Microsoft comment, on a article SPECIFICALLY talking about a game SONY paid a dev NOT to release on its competitor. This game, is literally an example of SONY buying their way to market domination like they have for the past generation and a half. Youre just completely w

“For a while now, we’ve been spending way more money than we earn,”

What labor? Modding a game that is not his to monetize? Might as well make unofficial NFTs of the game too.
