OW2 is F2P so I’m not sure what you were going to buy. Realistically, what would have happened is that you would have tried the PvE mode, realized that it’s not actually the full-fledged PvE experience you had hoped for, then just gone back to playing games specifically designed for PvE.

OW2 was designed from the ground up for PvP. The movement, abilities, weapons, level design, etc, were built for PvP. Tacking on a PvE mode isn’t going to satisfy PvE players or PvP players.

If we’re talking gameplay, the biggest change was the removal of turn-based combat and the extremely poor implementation of skill/speech checks.

That’s a fixable issue, though. The AI just needs to be taught to associate specific emotions with specific words and have a vocalization that can properly convey said emotions.

Can you share your source?  Steamcharts only goes as far back as July 2012 and the MvM update was released in August 2012. There’s not enough data to establish any trend before August 2012.

Huh, didn’t know there was a difference between the two. Well, that’s disappointing.

If you dislike PvP, that means you aren’t an OW2 player and therefore highly unlikely to spend any money on MTX. That makes you irrelevant to Blizzard. If they did add story-driven PvE, you’d likely play it once and then just go play another single-player or co-op game.

Yeah, this is very much a case of a vocal minority making an issue seem a lot bigger than it actually is.

So are there any stats on how many people actually play the PvE mode? Without that data, you can’t argue that it brought a lot of new people to the game.

The idea of treating that as a “promise” in this context seems strange to me. Blizzard is a business. They have plans and sometimes those plans change due to any number of variables. They aren’t “promising” anything.

Wait, they’re finally making something set in the Old Republic? How did I not hear about this?

I’d love to see stats on how many people actually played TF2's PvE mode.

You’re equating porn and fanfic to PvE content in a PvP game..? That’s a bit of a stretch.

I never really saw the value of PvE in Overwatch. It’s a PvP game. People play it for PvP. The vast majority of PvP players have no interest in PvE content because to them, the appeal of the game is playing against players.

Did you watch the whole video..? There’s literally a cop standing right next to the angry, yelling, unsearched male. When he tries to get out of the car while his girlfriend is being arrested, the cop stops him.

I actually have a Switch. I just never use it because I’d rather play its games on emulators where they generally look and run much better. Portability has never really been of much value to me because I rarely travel and if I’m at home, I can just use my gaming desktop.

I guess that makes more sense then. I’m coming from a PC gaming background where 60+ FPS has been standard for almost 20 years so 30 FPS feels really bad to me. I can’t really play anything at 30 FPS anymore (especially games that require aiming) so the idea of playing Cyberpunk, RDR2, Starfield, etc, on a Deck seems

It boils down to how often you actually take advantage of its portability. If you’re using it docked 80% of the time, that doesn’t seem like it would justify the significant reduction in image quality and performance. Same applies to Switch.

I don’t really see the point of buying the Deck if you’re only using it docked. Why not just get a desktop PC if portability isn’t a priority? You’ll get significantly better image quality and performance.

These are old games that nobody really cared about until the remasters/remakes were announced. I’m fairly sure that the KOTOR remake was originally intended to be more of an enhanced remaster akin to the recent TR collection. Then everyone got hyped and believed it was going to be a AAA remake, at which point Embracer
