Mother of two here... fluid is one thing.. but generally, the uterus takes a little while to get back to it's pre-pregnancy state. It's normally the size of a pear, and has expanded to contain an 8lb baby! She looks great. :)

Stay with it. Each generation takes a while to "grow on you"... The first gen it seemed "hooked" me faster, but all in all, each group is pretty good.
The only time I sort of liked him was when Effy was losing her mind... somehow, even though they were both truly fucked up, they made sense?

Agree. I'm in my 40's (early) and I cannot BELIEVE how mine has changed. And not in a good way.
I am currently cleaning coffee off my keyboard over "mullet skirts". I have one that I wear around the house(it was like, $8 at Target), and when I catch myself in the mirror, I'm like "WHO DESIGNED THIS INSANITY?"
You DO take the pills.... just regular VitC, I used a 1000mg pill. Apparently you shouldn't use the type that has rose hips in it, though. Something about it reduces the effectiveness. I just bought straight up generic Vitamin C at Walgreens.
I've actually used this method. And it worked. (Vitamin C pills, OJ won't work). I am hypervigilant about knowing when my period should start, and it was two days late. I aalso have two kids, so I KNOW that "this isn't right" feeling... took a home test, came back positive, started the Vitamin C routine immediately…
