I don’t know. I think it would be a perfectly capable grassland or light brush truck. I wouldn’t take it into trees or in cramped spaces, but over marginally maintained dirt/gravel roads or prairie, grass on an airfield, sure. Bogs, no, deep rutted roads no.

The president is the commander in chief of the armed forces. If he wants to cancel it, he can. Congress can overrule it if they get a veto-proof majority to pass a bill requiring continued development and production, but that is problematic and very unlikely. Simply allocating funds is not enough.
I hope you weren’t trying to imply that the F-35 is intended to replace the F-22 because that is not correct.
All tow companies do not engage in the same types of business. A company that confined itself to road service and towing disabled vehicles could have a pretty good rating.
Back in the day, in a different state, the way it worked was that if the police called there was a pre-negotiated rate. In many cases it was an hourly rate for a truck and driver. The rate varied by type of truck... Light, medium, heavy: boom/wheel lift, flatbed, rotator, road service, ORR, additional personnel,…

That is the way it was at my university also. The biggest debates they had were which bands to hire for homecoming and whether to give a particular club a $1000 or $1010 grant this year. I think you hit on the key. Last time I looked, Harley took in $0.40 in accessories and branding for every $1.00 on motorcycle sales.
I don’t fully understand it, maybe something to do with hard mounted vs. soft, or balanced vs. not, but some of the Harleys vibrate at idle, but are just fine at speed, other are the opposite, I can’t explain it.

Around here the Honda DCTs don’t sell very well. I was at a Honda dealer two weeks ago and the sales manager said he was only taking the ones Honda pushed on him. I think Aprilia had one and they discontinued it. Maybe it will work out better for the smaller bikes.
The Madass looks great. I rode a friend’s Cleveland FXR and it was slow and didn’t pull hills very well, but I couldn’t shake the grin off my face.
I think today it would be even more difficult. The problem isn’t just with aircraft, but with so many other things that the two companies compete on, like electronic systems, C4ISR, government IT, etc... There would anti-trust issues that would have t be worked through, probably with divestitures prior to the merger.
