I read that.

But what is already flying? The X-32 and X-35 were flying 15 years ago.

They tried that maybe 15 or 20 years ago but were denied by the govt.

That doesn’t mean illegal everywhere. I can use it 200 feet off the ground and have it at 15,000 feet. Just like a car, sure it can do 180 MPH, but I would only do that on a closed course. If I do either of those things near my house, I’m breaking the law.

I think I could build a decent house in one of those C-5’s

Native advertising is not exactly ad copy. It is generally writtin like a normal column, and may even be inline with normal content, but it is usually a story that wouldn’t get play except that someone pays the author to do it.

I know for sure one of the brands from the eighties used such an idea.

Yeah, I think the part people are missing is that this is likely Native Advertising.

Maybe they should require a criminal and mental health background check before getting a Driver’s Lincense. But would it have actually shown anything in this case? Did she actually have any history that would have shown up? Even so, plenty of serial DUIs are out there driving without a license, buying cars from

Yeah, because not holding the football game would have brought them back to life.. ?

Makes me wonder if he has provisions to ward off pirates. Maybe just a bunch of former Spetsnaz guys with small arms and a couple of mounted 12.7mm machine gun on each side.

My wife has a Ninja 300 so I get to ride it from time to time. It is certainly capable of freeway speeds. I have no trouble at 60-70 but it doesn’t have much punch at that point. I’m 6’1” and 195lbs and it is really a good bike for commuting, however I would not encourage anyone bigger than me to get one if you intend

I think you are misinterpreting, or maybe I am. Let me try an analogy. I go to a really seedy bar in a bad neighborhood and proceed to get ripping drunk. I then pay my tab by pulling a big wad of bills out of my pocket and peeling off a C-note for all to see. I then leave out the back door into a dark alley. At this

Hillary just approved it a couple of days ago. Congress still gets a month to override. Then the paperwork will start in ernest. That’s right, there is no contract yet, so this thing is not a 100% certainty. That alone could take a year, but I would hope they’ve been working on that for a while. Once that’s done then

I would have guessed Marinette Marine in Wisconsin, which is where the current Freedom class is built, but I’m not 100% on that.

Pretending something hasn’t become an Internet meme because it existed before is silly.

Neither did Domo-Kun or cat videos, but here we are.

You’ve never seen the “People disagreeing with me in 3, 2, 1, ...” pattern before? Or you disagree that it is tired?

As for the rider, of course the collision was not his fault. I do not agree that he didn’t do anything dumb. I’m not saying he is stupid, but he didn’t do the smart thing here, especially with a passenger. I don’t see evidence in the video of how fast the car was going relative to the speed limit so I can’t relate to
