That doesn't even come close to the absurd, terrible, not even campy, waste that is this...

Sorry, it was Gates in 2009 that declared it a cold war relic.

"Hey the Raptor was shitcanned by Bush" I am not sure of your intent as I think there is a typo somewhere in the rest of the sentence.

Choplifter for the Apple II. Would have been around 1982 or 1983. Downloaded over a 300 baud modem from a BBS running on ASCII Express. The parents had of course threatened me will all sorts of consequences for that kind of behavior, but at the time not many adults were computer savvy, much less BBS savvy. My

Cue the lawyers.

Typically an army has a state, and as much as ISIS would like to believe they do, they don't.

You realize that the US is launching attacks against ISIS from aircraft carriers, right?

I am completely confused by what I just read. Are you saying that it would be better if Europe were so bad people would want to escape from it?

They may no longer be made, but they are certainly still circulating. I got a couple last week in change from a vending machine after feeding it a $5. Two Susan B's and a Sacagawea.

I don't know. He did some good things... He was the one that kicked the Spanish out of Florida... so it could become part of the US... Damn, never mind.

Is this just supposed to be protection from random people on the street if it is stolen? Where is the assurance that the government doesn't have back doors into their "highly secure layer?" And would we believe them? Not that BB was safe from the government. Has this software been audited and if so by whom?

The competition was Boeing. McDonnell Douglas was in prior to 1996 but was left out when they cut the field down to two for the Concept Demonstration Phase. For Douglas it didn't really matter because just a year later they were bought by Boeing. Both Boeing and Lockheed were given government contracts to build

"So they're just flying around wasting fuel?"

The Reaper can not carry these at this time.

The guys who were copying the Harrier propulsion system lost the JSF competition back in 2001. Besides, I'm sure all the smart people who were instrumental in the design of the Harrier have long since retired.

You can't fire any of the weapons in anger until the weapons integration and testing is complete. For SDB II it has not completed. In fact, SDBII weapons integration has NOT completed on ANY platform, not just F-35. So, even if you could fit 8 in the B model's internal weapons bay, you still couldn't deploy them

The P-2 was put into service in '47, which is what I think you're looking at. I don't know about that specific airframe. There is a Canberra here... https://www.google.com/maps/@32.16139…. The US didn't build them (Martin vs. English Electric) until into the '50s.

As opposed to gullible people who bought the industry line. "No, no, trust us. Government grated monopolies without regulation are always the best bet." You are talking about some of the worst companies for customer service in the world. You think they have your best interests at heart? Where else are you going

Sadly, the providers proved that they cannot be trusted to do the right thing. I would have preferred it not come to this, but they kept pushing the limits of decency. They are doing this to themselves.

Guy on the right at 0:24-0:25. I bet he was highly impressed with the pilot's showboating.
