Regarding that last point. Tesla actually cooperates with existing businesses already to position the superchargers at locations that already have a restaurant or at least a convenience store. In Texas, they seem to have a deal with the Love’s gas station chain to put the superchargers at the same locations (the one

Came here for Tesla haters, left disappointed in humanity

I am as far from a Tesla apologist as you will find. As a car enthusiast, I enjoy keeping up to date with the latest trends and subscribe to a few automobile publications. Through the years, I have come across a few articles written Edward Niedermeyer and have all had a very negative slant toward electric cars,

Edward Niedermeyer Is the quack that has made a career about attacking Tesla Motors and anything Tesla. I remember his hit piece about Electrek connection with Tesla (see link below). I am surprised that Jalopnik would promote this quacks book.

On top of the 3-4 other Tesla bashing articles posted last week. Let’s also not sit here and play to the tune that Robb’s article was by any means flattering towards Tesla.

Why are you surprised? Jalopnik has been bashing Tesla for the last 10+ years now. Do a search for the words Jalopnik, Tesla, and Vaporware and you’ll see what I mean.

Y’all were bashing Tesla and this attempt for an entire week about this. gg

Tesla has most of what’s been outlined here. Their battery packs monitor/cool/heat on per cell level. You can’t replace specific modules as easily, but who has needed to? $20 bucks for 3 hours is less than minimum wage.  That doesn’t sound great at all.

I’m sorry Brian, but your “OH NO NUCLEAR BAD ONLY RENEWABLE GOOD” article didn’t convince me.

So what’s funny about your comment to me, is that it made me realize - while I hadn’t consciously thought about it - all that auto expand and play preview shit IS annoying, yet I’ve just been dealing with it without giving it a second thought. I’ve been totally desensitized to bad UI design/choices. I think it started

If Netflix really wants to keep customers in the face of Disney+ etc., it needs to get back to putting our experience first. For a long time now, browsing on Netflix has been a miserable experience with annoying autoroll trailers if you linger too long on a program. Despite a tsunami of user requests to disable the

If this (and other brand) electric trucks can hit 600+ miles of range fully loaded, hopefully they get on the road ASAP. One would think that the long-term savings on fuel and maintenance costs would make them an easy sell for major operators, not to mention if the government gets behind them with subsidies.

I love how republicans don’t want government intervention until it’s a Liberal private sector that they feel is mean to them.

Things we need government oversight on: People commenting on the internet.

Things we don’t need government oversight on: People purchasing guns specifically designed to kill as many people as possible as quickly as possible.

Fucking way to fucking go.

They should be giving us both because we can't opt out of using them
