You're right, technology should never progress unless we've solved every last aspect of the problem.

I couldn’t care less if you’re here. You're just the guy saying that the car will never replace the horse and buggy. People like you are a dime a dozen.

Lol. See you back here in a few years. Enjoy your prehistoric air-breather.

Developing on IoT core for the Pi is seriously fun. It’s an infinitely better experience than cobbling together some Python on Linux and lets you have pretty UIs.

Making them compliant and being able to use the network are two different things.

I bet you're fun at parties.

Yeah, people get stuck on the Java bus and refuse to ever try anything else. I’ll go where you were too polite to; the authors of C# had the value of hindsight and rather than start from scratch, used a lot of nice syntax from C++ (and Java). The effect makes Java look bloated and cumbersome by comparison, and that’s

Right, I guess I'm saying investors have been hearing this same thing from other sources for a long time now. I don't know what I was hoping for...maybe a more technical analysis.

Why does he think this is news to Tesla investors? These are the same points Wall Street has been rehashing for years.

I was just thinking about the sharp contrast between Rogoway, probably my favorite Gawker writer, and Arkin, who seems to be a total crackpot.

Yes, you’re right. Analogies are always made with real things that have already happened. But I liked how you said my comment was stupid; it shows deep insight and wit.

I'm sure you can return your XBox if the $ is really the thing that is hurting your head in this analogy.

Sorry buddy. Ah fuck, I just did it again.

It’s all electrons my friend. Brave new world and all that. Physical locations mean less and less.

Yes, I do see your narrow way of looking at it but no, you didn’t have to buy an XBox, just like you don’t have to use google. Put in SAT terms, XBox is to google.com as PS4 is to bing.com; your computer doesn’t enter into it. That’s called free market, not some dystopian future.

Is it? Google could (to some extent) block you from using google. Is it so different that the hardware sits in your house?

I’ve always said, we’re aggressive but competent.
