I don't want to appear heartless
I don't want to appear heartless
What's your point? the emotions are real
Your second point there is a very bad one. It's a common way for people to just excuse their actions by putting the fault on the other side. It's the old "I'm sorry you were offended" argument. Words have meaning. If you say something that's really offensive, people are going to be offended. Trying to put the…
There are certainly times where people take something out of context, but if you are constantly offending by accident, you've got problems. The thing about the homophobic stuff, even just using "gay" to mean "stupid" is not exactly that. I know a lot of people grew up using that, so it is a habit, but it's something…
People watched a reviewer's take on that scene and just repeat what they said instead of coming to their own conclusion.
It's willful ignorance. It furthers their silly narrative that english voice acting is bad.
I'm holding out for "Dude, Where's My Chocobo?"
I'm sure they'll spell it Cid to be consistent with the series.
I will not get excited about a new Final Fantasy...I will not get excited about a new Final Fantasy...I will not get excited about a new Final Fantasy...I will not get excited about a new Final Fantasy...I will not get.....Goddamn you, Square!
Please to be Excited!
Hell, they'll even delay a game if they have to. DKC Tropical Freeze was supposed to originally be released around this time last year, then they pushed it to Feb. Meanwhile every other publisher is scared shitless of missing the mid November release window.
Wait... what? So because they aimed high it's all good? Fuck that noise.
Eh, I never feel like Nintendo rushes unfinished games. They seem to be an anomaly tho.
It's such a common issue with the industry as a whole now. Probably lies with the publishers in most cases.
Try again. The Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection launched without a hitch as far as I can see.
It is ambitious but I agree with OP. It's still rushed. Ambition isn't an excuse for something not working even remotely properly.
Blame MS for that one. Apparently 343 asked for more time but MS wanted them to release it on the 10th anniversary of Halo 2.
So let me get this shit straight. Microsoft, Ubisoft and EA launched broken games(Halo MCC, ACU and Simcity) then they apologize by giving out free games. Sony release Driveclub and the online was broken for two months and only release a dlc for free? You know, don't just spew #4ThePlayers out, try to follow it up…
At least they're admitting their faults and are releasing quite a large amount of content for free as an apology. Of course it'd been nicer if the multiplayer worked from launch but I can't condemn them as a result.
Corporations as well. I've done crisis communications, and I wouldn't let a CEO talk to a reporter about something critical to the business without a lawyer and a PR specialist in the same room. That's not cagey — it would be communications malfeasance otherwise.
She had a woman with a (seemingly) story she could actually corroborate but went for the splashy headline grabber that she couldn't get any third person data on. Just awful, awful journalism
