I was just having this discussion about NASCAR this weekend with a friend. The series has gotten significantly safer, with no deaths since Earnheardt Sr. But at the same time, ratings have continued to fall.

I’m fairly certain the show has already shown weapons very similar to these at the wall. Pretty sure they used them against the wildlings.

I’ve seen this mentioned before, and the answer that makes the most sense is that when poisoning blades, you don’t keep them poisoned all the time, that’s not how they work. For the poison to be most effective, you do it right before using them, so right before battle.

I get your point, but I’d say it a different way. No one forgets that the US has nuclear missile subs haunting the oceans. They just don’t know where they are. That’s part of their terror and part of the issue of using them as a threat.

It’s incredibly vain to believe that you’re the most delightful person in the world and everyone should remember you.

I often make a point to introduce myself to stranger’s that are with people I vaguely know. I might remember them, but I don’t expect everyone to remember me or maybe they don’t remember my name, so I try to make it as painless as possible for everyone involved.
