“We know this was disappointing. We hope our fans will understand based on this explanation that we had to balance many interests, including the safety and security of all participants and the fan experience over the whole race weekend.

lol Really trying to justify owning your Tesla, huh?

Do both

These lines don’t bother you?

I’m wondering how quickly nothing will happen.

No videos are transmitted absent a safety event, period.”

That really is the billion dollar question, and I think it’s because many of Elon’s ideas are just a knee jerk reaction to needing some insane news to keep the hype going and boost the stock. Anything to avoid the markets concluding that Tesla is becoming a “normal” car company, and shouldn’t be valued at such a crazy

Which will happen within the first month of public production. Sandy Munro is chomping at the bit to tear one down

I remain baffled they haven’t smartened up and cancelled the thing.  It makes no sense.  It won’t sell.  If they turned that effort into a proper 3-row SUV, it would sell like hot cakes.

Tesla.  You will never convince me that those cars are luxury.  Panel gaps I can see through, horrible interiors, “leather” that is just nasty, seats that suck, etc etc etc.

I left Alabama 12 years ago and the only thing I miss, aside from my family and friends, is Publix. Sigh.

Safeway doesn’t even exist in Florida or Alabama. Their data seems to be broken.

NW FL here. I’ve never seen a Safeway. Up here it’s Publix all damn day. We just got an Aldi. Seafood and other speciality markets fill in the rest.

I’m not even the target demographic for one of these, but in today’s world of overpriced cars, $60k for a nicely equipped manual Supra doesn’t sound like a bad deal. It’s not like they’re going to depreciate.

Heated seats and steering wheel. Oh so nice if you can have them come on when your remote start your car in the winter and it is nice and toasty in there on a cold winter day.

Automatic headlights. We’ve all seen “that person” driving around at night with only the DRLs because dash lights are always on now. “That person” needs them before they hit something or someone hits them from behind.

I miss armrests in cars. These ruled in the big American boats. Last car I had that had them was an ‘01 Tahoe. (Picture is only of a cover because everything on the google image search was either that or chincy aftermarket ones that go in the cupholder or some shit.)

I’m going to say air conditioned seats.  I had a rental with them in Northern Minnesota in December and still thought they were the bee’s knees.  I could only imagine how good they would feel in swampy summer.

WHY in the world would you suggest a Morgan for long distance rally? I’m sure they’d like their spines to be intact at the end of the trip. Also, you know, be able to take stuff with them.
