No traditional info unit is fine, but seriously, why no heads up display? If you ever drive a car that has one, you’ll never want anything else. I absolutely do not want to have to glance over at a giant iPad to figure out if I’m speeding or not.

People have always enjoyed that sort of event. Look at rugby: a hooligan sport watched by gentlemen

Oh, in no way am I saying it isn’t a very stupid thing to do. Just saying that people do this every day there, so something must have been a bit different for someone to be thrown hard enough to be killed.

Well considering the article stated that it was a 737 taking off, which only has 2 engines and is considerably smaller, I’m not entirely sure what your point is.

For me, Click. When he realizes he missed all that time with his father, I lost it.

I’ve been there and stood behind the jet blast a few times. Something must have been different about this takeoff because when I was there, none felt remotely close to knocking me off my feet. It was just extremely hot and hard to breath for a few seconds with your face getting pelted by tiny pebbles.

Yes, but you can’t normally stand right behind the runway. The runway here isn’t terribly long, so pilots have to get down as quickly as possible. Plus they all like to show off a bit.

Don’t forget the premium hay flooring.

I’ll qualify this statement by saying I have absolutely no idea how much the running costs of an NFL team are, but feel it’s my obligation to point out:

It is, you definitely know when you’re getting into the boost though!

Oh don’t get me wrong, the modern V6 is outstanding! But in an American muscle sedan, I just feel like a V8 would be the most right answer.

Yeah, the car is outstanding, but part of me wishes it did have a V8. I love the twin turbo V6, but nothing beats a good V8.

I have an ATS V sedan and can absolutely confirm it comes with a manual.

Mississippi and Louisiana agree with you.

Oh, it’s not like GM is incapable of building another front-engine, rear-wheel-drive, manual-transmission’d roided-the-fuck-up monster sedan.

I almost went the Volvo direction recently, but remembered I don’t have kids yet. When I do though, I know the first place I’m going.

Preach.

Being it Made in China, I wouldn’t bet on it.

The odds of that thing making it all the way to the next red light, much less down the drag strip are much less than the Swede.

We’ve done massive amounts of computer modelling on this. We’ve also done accelerated salt water corrosion tests. It won’t rust.
