I agree if they release a game with non cosmetic DLC. DLC that comes a few months afterwards? To me, that’s just a way of paying for continued development.

But, it’s just a fucking box in a video game that nobody is forcing you to buy and has only been terrible in like 4-5 instances. Is this really a thing right now?

the easiest way to not support that kind of game development is to simply not buy $60 games that are full of micro-transactions and loot boxes.

Dynasty Warriors is it’s own franchise that borrows licenses from other franchises. it’s more Dynasty Warriors than Gundam.

they were made by Omega Force, they’re not part of the Gundam video game series they’re Dynasty Warriors. they don’t even follow Bandai’s release schedule for the Gundam games and as a result ended up coming out in the US even though Bandai didn’t want any Gundam games in the US.

they should do that and the Digimon tamers digivice too.

Hyrule Warriors isn’t a Zelda game, it’s also more Dynasty Warriors than Zelda. and Pokken Tournament is definitely not a Pokemon game.

it really isn’t though. the Dynasty Warriors Gundam games didn’t really have alot of input from Bandai which is why they could continue to release them in the US.

that makes sense, games are kind of expensive in that part of the world.

if you’re going to get it then you might wanna make it soon. it’s probably not gonna sell very well which means later down the line it’ll be harder to find.

if it is that demanding they could have done what other games do, bring some graphical features down in that mode, or set the frame rate lower. Those that care not for split screen are unaffected, those that want it still get it.
