Juliette totally survives and she and Avery get back together and have a blissful life with Cadence. This is the only acceptable resolution for Juliette.

It sounds like she tried to resolve it outside of court and her parents refused.
While a lot of people are sue-happy, I can see the problem in this type of case. Would you really want your boss to be able to google you and find naked toddler pictures? I certainly wouldn’t.
I have no problem with this.
I’m of NA descent and truthfully, my priority is getting fair, accurate depictions of Native Americans out there, with a secondary concern about who does it. Of course, I love the idea of supporting Native Americans in the arts and wish they had more visibility, I do! However, I will also laud non-Native artists who…
I stand with her in principle/Come at me bro.
Admission: I like it when people appropriate my culture. It feels like acceptance. Is that odd?
Agree with this, and Glennon (the other author) is very open about her struggles with disordered eating and mental illness. I’m sure she would trade being slim for not having to battle that demon for so many years.
Yup I’m gonna go out on a limb and say she’s maybe even amongst the .01% in the literary world, having had both commercial publishing success and a popular film made out of a book. I do sympathize with the idea that traditionally attractive, skinny women get an edge, but I think it can be a case of self-esteem, going…
I sympathize with Jennifer, but at the same time, there are times when the smart thing to do is to keep your mouth shut. And when you’re the 1% and want to complain that you aren’t the 0.05%, that would be the time.
While I admire her honesty, doesn’t she have a BFF to vent to? And wouldn’t that BFF tell her, “Maybe keep some of this shit between us, huh?”
But they said, Our brother and then our sister and then our brother... so seems like they were recognizing what alexis wanted.
I was going to comment about this. She went out in support of Native people defending their land and water BEFORE the NY Times and other mainstream publications were even covering it, so haters to the right.
I read this as an actress signing on for one project, and not wanting to have it switched for a totally different one. Filming a tv series is very different from filming a movie—logistically, financially... And also, she IS an A-list star right now. Doing a TV movie would be bad for her career. Can we recognize a…
Agreed. I find her mildly annoying, but credit where credit is due. She’s been extremely vocal about the DAPL protests and indigenous rights, something few celebrities and sadly fewer politicians seem to give a shit about. That's worth overlooking her weird health ideas and perceived snubbing of tv, as far as I'm…
Yes thank you - this is what I got out of this. It’s like getting a project assignment at any job, agreeing to the terms and conditions with your boss, and then somewhere down the line your boss completely changes the parameters (schedule, expectations, etc.) - and in this case they didn’t even seem to bother to let…
I don’t think she’s knocking TV as a medium—she’s appearing in an HBO limited series this fall (“Big Little Lies”). She’s saying that she contracted to do this particular project for film and isn’t necessarily up for it now changing to TV (which requires a different type of shooting schedule, etc.).
Ya know what? I’m not going to blame her for dodging this particular bullet. This seems like a franchise with dwindling interest and the TV show seems like a weird effort to keep the ship afloat. And she's already done like three of this things! The idea of doing an entire TV show after that many films has gotta seem…
She was pretty amazing in the Spectacular Now as well (I assume you’re saying the Descendants is the one good movie.)
