The difference is that the story structure is deliberately simplistic so that it can allow a lot of extremely talented improvisational actors room to improvise.

These movies aren’t about the story, they’re about the performances and always have been.

I HATED him on Kaitlyn’s season (didn’t watch Andi’s) just because I knew him as the guy who “kissed and told” on national tv and it felt vaguely slut-shamey toward Andi, and I found some of his behaviour on Kaitlyn’s season obnoxious and didn’t find him attractive.

Did you see him on Bachelor in Paradise though? I couldn’t stand him on the other shows but he won me over on that. He was the voice of reason. Though it could just be the lesser of the evils. My husband and I love watching and teasing everyone. We drink every time someone says “journey”. LOL
