Color theory!

What he's saying totally makes sense, they soooo could've timed it better. But at the same time, DC is no stranger to legacy characters or different versions of one character spread in different universes with different backstories, appearances, etc. I imagine Ezra will be one if not both of those.

"The speculum is that scary device that looks like a duck bill and is used to conduct pelvic exams on people with vaginas." FTFY.

It's too bad the graves and the land around them were in no way disturbed, though, especially considering it was raining and there were giant metal people bumming around.

I totally agree that they keep inching toward generic android and become less effective. Like, with the Cybermen from the finale episodes for S8 - that would've been the perfect opportunity for something horrifying or, at least, suggestive of horror. I was pretty disappointed when Cyberdanny's face plate came off and

Parental love isn't always a given, though. There are many, many abusive and hateful parents in the world.

What if Cybermen figured out out a way to harvest Daleks? A merging of Dalek and Cyberman aesthetics, with all the hatred of Daleks and need to kill of both. Or if they got ahold of Davros, we could see that beauty with the mouthpiece and light.

" Maybe offering cybernetic parts (first to people with physical disabilities, then later to others for vanity or an edge in life) would be more like it." This is an interesting idea, but I think there's a lot of room there for grossness in making the first Cybermen people with disabilities...

Could you imagine if something like this one were fused with the concept up top, the insectoid-y one? BBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I don't like this design overall, especially not the face, but damn, that backpiece is cool as hell.

This one definitely needs a leg day.

I feel like part of the weird tone shift that's made the show less bleak in recent years is that Moffat has been trying specifically to emulate what he thinks is Hollywood. So we get some pretty music and cinematography, but the tone of the episodes and seasons themselves are all jacked up.

*pops in from the roof to say "Calling it unequivocally a kids show isn't an excuse for insulting plots!" then ziplines back to Mars*

They feel very... aquatic? Barnaclesque? Are they meant to? I haven't seen the episode.

I thought they were scary as shit at first, but then everything happened and the whole "What's a better confessor than one you can't remember?" line happened on the fucking naked temple or whatever it was and it just screamed "look at me, I'm clever".
I watched the first episode they appeared again in during BBCA's

Those were fucked up, in a very very fresh and interesting way!

I don't know about you, but I thought Raisin Wizard Dobby from the Season 3 finale was utterly terrifying.

"Meanwhile, the lead mermaid role was reportedly being filled by Sharon Stone and Monica Bellucci at various times, but then went to Olga Kurylenko." That's simultaneously the most mind-boggling, worst, and best sentence I've heard all month.

Thank you for including a bit about diversity. Here's a few questions - how does it stack up on trans characters? Disabled characters? Ace and/or aro characters?

Ladies aren't the only ones who had soaring viewing figures during that Jack Harkness scene!!
