It’s not politics. Calling something politics suggest that there are at least two equally worthy sides to an argument. There are only two side of this argument, and only one is valid. On one side there are those of us who think this chant is racist, and on the other side are the racists.

Why the fuck would anyone equate the actions of Antifa  with those of the POTUS? Also, they call them concentration camps because they ARE concentration camps.

Politics wasn’t costing ESPN subscribers, cord-cutters were.

This isn’t politics, dummy. if you want scores, there’s an app for that.

I was probably in high school (maybe college) before it dawned on me.

One admittedly nerdy correction: the league did not make Jerry West the logo. Officially, Jerry is NOT the logo. The league hired a graphic designer who knew nothing about the NBA to design a logo for the league. They wanted a silhouette similar to what MLB has. They sent him a bunch of pictures to choose from. The

I mean, he could NOT accept the award. He could tell Trump to go screw. That is entirely within his control. Right?

I had to look errant up just to make sure it meant what I thought it did.

At the end of the day, you need to decide how important competing for a championship is. Because it’s nearly impossible to do so without that class of player, and finding one in the draft is a crap shoot. If as a team you feel like you’re pretty good at identifying elite talent and then guiding it to develop, great.

I’ve been sticking with SD at least just because I wanted to enjoy Kofi’s title run, bu there’s little else that interests. Although honestly there are some matches at the next SA show that interest me, but fuck if I’m watching that.

That’s an interesting point. As I was reading the article, I was thinking that I’m ready to abandon WWE’s weekly shows, but I would keep the network ONLY for PPVs and NXT. There’s no reason to watch SD or Raw anymore. While there are performers that I would miss on those shows, so many of them are being mishandled I

The “but she never killed innocents before!” rebuttal feels really weak to me. Violence and cruelty have always been a feature of who she’s been. I can’t see that anyone can honestly argue that she didn’t have the capacity for doing what happened on Sunday. I think a lot of fans were just really invested in the idea

“I don’t understand how someone so talented and accomplished can have such a fragile ego.”

I do it just for the whimsy.

If you want to tell a story about people overcoming racism, specifically a story about changing racist laws/policies, you’re going to have to show someone who believed racists ideas having their mind changed.

For WWE, Wtestlemania is their showcase event, so it’s not great that their opening act consistently outshines what’s supposed to be the main draw. Keep the the Takeover matches as they are, just don’t segregate them. Mix them in with the main card. At this point, NXT needs to be on equal footing with Raw and

I agree that those matches weren’t executed well, but I feel like they had a place on the card. Joe’s a titleholder, he SHOULD have a match during the most important event of the year Probably shouldn’t have been Rey. In a two-day event, you could have swapped Rey out for Owens and had a good match. And Angle’s match w

Hells yeah. There HAS to be someone in Stamford who realizes this needs to be a two-day event now, right? Move the HOF to Friday, fold the NXT matches in with the Raw/SD and just do 3.5 hour shows on Saturday and Sunday. More than any other year, this year needed Wrestlemania to be a multi-day affair.

Had you given Brock/Rollins this ending, Lesnar would still be suplexing the referee through the streets of New Jersey this morning.”

Yeah, my continued WWE fandom hinges entirely on what happens with Kofi on Sunday. If he loses, nothing else matters. I’ll probably cancel my network subscription.
