Actually, the device’s capacitors are charged by the computer’s own power via the USB port. Once they are full, the voltage is dumped into the USB signal lines and the process repeats. No battery needed, and the device is reusable!

The speed limit when you can see 10+ miles was never 80 ;-) For the Porsche parade last year we drove from Boise to Monterey, we managed the return trip in ~11 hours (with a 2 hour stop in Tahoe for lunch with friends)

I decided starting mid-last year, to simply leave them on, because I don’t give a fuck. It has worked out pretty well so far.
