It is almost inevitable that you will need to go back to that dealership for something throughout your ownership, and if you don't go to that one then you visit another one. so why not try to just make a friend or someone that you can trust at least a little bit to handle your automotive needs?

Keep in mind nobody HAS to negotiate, and I can hear the emphasis in the disgust when you said "car salesman", UGH...THOSE slimy sleeze bags, i know right.

Congrats for actually having some empathy and giving the guy a break. If he treated you like a human being, enough that you STILL remember him, then that is saying something and he deserved the good score. Why would you penalize him for something he has no control over?

One dealeship is not equal to All dealerships. remember that.

I am very confident that you are not loyal to any dealership either, if so- I can almost hear the heavy sighs from the staff as you pull in the parking lot. If you listen closely, you probably hear them say "oh shit, its this guy again" as the showroom empties for a smoke break.

fuck that shit, anything less than a 5 is BELOW AVERAGE as far as they know. Now me, I make 100% sure that my customers are satisfied before I let them know the manufacturer will be contacting them in the near future... no harm in that. most people already know anyway, this way if you have a problem and dont want to

Period. Nothing else needs to be said after that, you just read it and accept that its the truth. Just don't tell them what the actual markup is in grocery stores, or every day clothing that just came from a chinese sweatshop.

Why do you have to rely on TrueCar though? Why can't you just do normal research and find something that fits your budget that is reasonable?

hahahaha i love this. Payless hahaha. thats funny shit. I would never drive a Hyundai for several reasons, but I am sure theyre $30k dollar "sports car" is not a bad overall package but compared to what? for $30k, I would probably go 370z.

I would LOVE to follow up every single article like this with this fact- 90% of new car sales will earn the salesperson only $100 dollars.

This. I love this. You are exactly right. People hate when the tables are turned.

lol hassle of negotiations. Thats funny, most people love to come in and play the game or negotiating. The price of the car is right their on the sticker next to the letters MSRP, sounds pretty direct and straight forward to me.

You actually dont have to play any of the "games" to get a good deal. Just depends on where you go/who you work with. You can easily google the invoice price on any brand new car these days. Make a reasonable offer via email, most likely it will be approved and then you can walk in and know what to expect. If the car

Well lets see... INVOICE on a 2014 Pilot LX 4WD is $29,426... and they included a remote start... so what do you think.

Articles like this and FastNFurious type things doomed this car long, long ago.

^This. Seriously, my used car manager cringes if either one pulls up since they are probably buried in it (financially) anyway.

I guess I am not understanding... I did not know about this until you baited me, and I am glad I read it because I find it interesting.

Yes, the little Fiat really is that good. Best sound per dollar by far.

It was a small SUV and it looked and felt like a small SUV.

Can't believe Honda Civic Turdz didn't make the list- and thats coming from a CRX owner.
