No problem. Typically, new Honda models have anywhere from $500 (Fit) to $5,000 (Odyssey Touring) of mark up. Honda is cool because we don't offer cash rebates, no 0% financing and the cars are all built the same essentially so no confusing packages are offered.

LOL all my examples were perfectly logical. Everyone makes a profit, or trys to, whether you realize it or not. Buying a car is no different than buying anything else in your life, if you are educated on what you are looking at and know exactly what you want, then how is it an issue? How can they scam you if you know

I guess by that logic then all Realtor's should quit as well then and you can figure out how to buy your own house?

Being a sales person sucks, period.

Well, that is kind of like saying I went to Friendlys in Frown Town, the service sucked and the food was cold and waitress was a bitch and over charged me... "I will never go to Friendlys ever again"... when in reality the Friendlys 10 miles away had the best service, food is on point and the manager even came out to

Not really, we are apart of a larger Auto Group in New England with 15+ dealerships on the East Coast. I sell Honda's, so really it's not like it is a hard sell telling someone that a Honda is a good investment, I certainly don't lie about anything and I am 110% not an arm twister. I present my product, tell you its

Yeah right... most in my area are NOT stock and have $20k+ asking prices. Guys throw multiple thousands of dollars into them and expect to get it all back, just sad. Should have left it stock for several reasons.

No, good for you Tom. I work for Honda on the sales floor and in 5 years I have always put the customer first. My dealership might rub some people the wrong way and obviously you won't satisfy 100% of the people 100% of the time, whether you work for Honda, Joe Blow's Auto or Apple or Stop and Shop, people will get

Doug, I could care less what you drive or if you are trying to troll. I laughed quite a quite a few times reading this, and thats all I really wanted to do while I am stoned at work. Enjoy your PT.

Ohhh guys, stop. Your making me blush.

Really? because if I am at a 4 way stop sign- the massive A pillars can completely block cars on both sides. I am not saying this just to hate on the car, unfortunately we leased it and I drive it every damn day but just no denying the A pillar is big compared to say, the Accord.

This is a great article, but just please don't make your next one "Why are New Cars Getting SO Much More Expensive than they Used to???" because any of the above being changed will make (for example) $19k Honda Civic's start at $25k.

If I were an automaker, especially one that made performance cars, I'd really invest in trying to make thinner A-Pillars that still met modern safety standards.

LOL. This must be a joke, manufacturers are so in over their heads with cost cutting that the suggestion of having standard all weather/tech/rhino is hilarious when almost NOBODY is including even Carpet Floor Mats, on your $20k+ new car. Toyota/Nissan charge $125+ for carpet mats, if you don't buy them-you get

1.) Honda CR-X

USE IT WHEN YOU NEED IT!

Very controversial Tavarish.

You aint getting $199 a month with $2k down on a 15 Accord LX CVT financing. So that might be 1 reason people like leasing.

No kidding? Welcome to current times. Also, that +the styling is the only aspect of the car that is- everything else is unpleasantly disappointing, like the acceleration. &this is coming from a 91 CRX owner.

Beautiful design but given the choice, I would take the new NSX over this. Sorrynotsorry.
