Truly exceptional automotive journalism Doug. Great article, classic Jalopnik. Articles like this are why I hold Jalop as #1 auto news articles over Car/Driver and Motor Trend.

So, you might be wondering. What the hell happened?
LMFAO. you win. might just be cause I read it in a trailer whore whisper but that was fuckin funny.
Internally for me- it was Honda's half assed attempt to introduce the new 2015 Honda Fit out of their new Celeya, Mexico plant that invested hundred of millions into. Only to fall outrageously short and delay their arrival by months, totally screwing up Fit production and losing countless sales as well as having a…
I'm going to have to say that the Volkswagen Group has made some of the most disappointing decisions of 2014. But the biggest offense would have to be the debut of the Golf R Wagon at the LA Auto Show without the intention of ever selling it in America.
well I assume the guy with a replica Willy's Jeep takes better care of his vehicle than the guy who just financed a Compass with no money down and 19.99% interest.
Notice every person on these threads with "reliable" Jeeps were made in the 80's/90's or earlier. Personally, I would buy a Pre Owned Dealer Serviced Grand Cherokee before I even considered this new Cherokee, regardless of what happened to Cars.com.
Hey mannnnn.... Honda did a good job this year with Happy Honda Days this year and was relieved Bolton wasn't brought back. They picked great characters and a great theme and (as a Honda employee) the deals are TRULY deep. the Skeletor twitter takeover was easily the best part of it though.
I mean, can any of you even tell me what's different between the devotees of Happy Honda Days and the December To Remember Lexusians, or even the Veedubber's Sign Then Drive? I can't. Because now it's all about selling cars.
I never knew/heard of Pewdiepie until South Park, admittedly I thought he was kind of lame and didn't see the big deal. If you are going to hate the guy for doing what he loves and he is not bothering anyone then who cares?
How can gearheads hate crossovers? I can see why a shitty Chevy Equinox or Ford Escape sucks. but look at some of the japanese crossovers, they know what they are doing. I love modified Subaru Forresters (even though it teeters closer to a wagon but whatever) and early CR-V's-both of which can be had with manual…
I nominate you importing the new Honda N/#1 or whatever it is. Or do Kei cars not count lol.
maybe you should avoid the next article then? Because as bad as it is listening to Doug complain about things...its much much worse to read about people complaining about Doug complaining about thing.
As noted, the engine is a K24 out of a 2002 Acura RSX, and it's been topped with a K20 head. That sits in a re-purposed RSX subframe that now holds up the ass-end of this CRX. A firewall has been built between the engine and the cabin, while up front where the engine used to live is now home to a plastic gas tank and…
Scion can fail as long as they want because Toyota will always sell 600k+ Camrys a year.
But then I see things like Honda's newly announced N-Box Slash (or N/). It's the latest version of their little N-Box Kei car line, and it's pretty much exactly what I want from a modern car. It's fantastic on space utilization, it doesn't look like every other thing on the road, it seems flexible and practical, the…
